If I am not mistaken, Eorl has already been made in the "Oath of Cirion and Eorl" vignette (MS258) it is already a Fellowship range mithril, but the idea is good even if I still prefer the idea of Sauron fighting Elendil or Isildur which would really be a Premiere

Hi Michael, just a coupple of questions: What about the new M series? It seems that Chris has too much work with the fellowship miniatures and has no time for casting those gorgeous "wishlist M-series" like the battle of the five armies or the battle of Orthanc. Do you remember? There were a lot of good ideas (I think that from Zoetrop) of Ents fighting, wargs and warg riders, orc infantry... The other question is do you still have the license of the old ICE modules? I love that one of "The lost realm of Cardolan" with that wonderfull cover of Angus Mc Bride. I would like to see the raggers, the steel raiders, the warlord... and why not, a vignette depicting the epic fight at the Barrow Downs. dfxwebs.com/Artists/McBride/angus003.jpgThank you very much Oriol

Thanks for putting me straight, Gildor! You're quite right, of course, but you need to allow for the fact that my memory is "like a lumber-room: thing wanted always buried". I guess the fact that I didn't think of Eorl's appearance in MS258, even though I was subliminally aware of it, underlines my general preference for 'standalone' figures rather than vignettes. Nor does it change the fact that we don't as yet have a figure of Eorl in action, on horseback, to grace our collections. This is a significant omission that surely needs to be rectified.

OK, finally online again. :-)
I will throw in Merry this time, as he sits on his mount and blows the horn of Rohan to rally the Shire.

A serious of new M's are due out in October, the Gondorian army. We can still make ICE figures as long as they are not from the Silmarillion.
