The 1st round was a magnificent spread of ideas and a very even amount of support. However there can only be ONE winner per month, so the top 4 from the 1st round are carried forward.
This is an open vote so you can see what the current status of the vote is BEFORE you cast your vote. Remember if your idea did not make it into this round, DON'T despair, you can resubmit it next month.

The Lord of Khan is an excellent figure, but he needs protecting from all the rabble of Gondor ;D.

Vidugavia is a great character, no doubt, but I prefer to see heading a possible M-Serie of Rhovanion as myself suggested in the 2010 wishlist..... My vote goes to Bilbo. We needs a hobbit in the MS, the other Bilbo on the barrel has a ungallant pose .... In Mithril coat better...... ;D In addition, smaller figure, smaller price, right?

Again and again VOTE FOR HIRGON !!!!
Hirgon: the errand-rider of Gondor during the War of the Ring.
Hirgon was bidden by Denethor to bring to the King of Rohan a token of war. He rode swiftly to the camp of the Rohirrim at the risk of his own life to present the Red Arrow of Gondor to Theoden, the King of Rohan as a request for aid in their war against Sauron. After speaking to the king, he insisted on riding back to Gondor and Minas Tirith to assist in the struggle.
Hirgon was later found dead by the Riders of Rohan with his hand still grasping the Red Arrow, while on their way to Gondor.
He wore a riders' cloak of dark green with fine lether applications over a coat of fine chain mail, a pointed silver Cavalry helmet with wing decoration at the sides and a small silver star on the Front-Plate.

I cannot see much sense in your argument, Erchamion. Or does it mean one simply has to suggest a range in the wish-list to see it being released? - Of course that would make some things much more easier in a certain way. Apart from the fact that it also would mean a lot of extra-work for Chris Tubb.

I voted for Hirgon this month. This good suggestion has been around here for a very long time so lets all give some support to it and get him made this time around!

well I really think Hirgon is a good idea... though I don't remember in which position he was submitted...
I remember a MERP MECCG card "the red arrow" with a Hirgon kneeling before Theoden trone, presenting the red arrow in front of him (head low) as if presenting a treasure but well that's only one representation... I'll try to find the pic somewhere...

At first its the MERP MECCG cart Number 291, i can send you a scan if you wish. At second something to the background of the Using/Presentation of the red arrow:
The Red Arrow, an arrow, was a way Gondor summoned its allies in time of need.
Its flights were black and its barbs were made of steel, and it took its name from a mark of red painted on the arrow's tip, standing for blood to show the situation was serious. The black flights were like the Orc arrows.
First mention of the Red Arrow is when Borondir of Gondor and five other messengers rode north along Anduin to seek out Gondor's old allies, the Éothéod, when Gondor was being overrun by Easterlings, in TA 2509. Borondir was the only survivor, and presented the Red Arrow to the Éothéod King Eorl the Young.
Later it became a summons for the Rohirrim. The Red Arrow was presented to Rohan by Hirgon, Gondor's messenger in the War of the Ring. As a result, King Théoden rode out with the Rohirrim to the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Théoden's forces were a great aid to the hard-pressed soldiers of Gondor, though the King was slain in the battle.
It is not certain where the Red Arrow came from: it is possible that the tradition was an old one and that Gondor had always summoned its allies this way, but another possibility is that Borondir actually took an Orc arrow with a bloody tip to present to the Éothéod, to prove that the situation was as bad as his message stated.

Apart from the fact that it also would mean a lot of extra-work for Chris Tubb. What I meant to say, Master Tree, is that I would like to see a series of Rhovanion complete with Vidugavia, young Eldacar, etc ..... Obviously something is better than nothing , but the emission of an only figure can delay the emission of the entire M-serie Rhovanion. Although, of course, this is only talk, the M-serie is now paralyzed and there are very good ideas for M-series too .......

Perhaps Hirgon will finally prevail! But the Khand body guard is close.
The descriptions by 13thraven are very good to remind us of the importance of Hirgon and the Red Arrow in the relationship between the Gondorians and the Rohirrim, going back to the days when they (then called the Eotheod) settled in the Vales of Anduin to the north. A mounted Hirgon would be great, Thingol, and I remember your suggestion. But as this is a single month the pose suggested was of Hirgon on one knee before King Theoden, holding the Red Arrow out before him with one hand to the King of Rohan.
Vote HIRGON and let's see this important character created by Chris!

Finally VOTE HIRGON !!
He sank on one knee and presented the arrow to Théoden.
"Hail, Lord of the Rohirrim, friend of Gondor!" he said. "Hirgon I am, errand-rider of Denethor, who bring you this token of war. Gondor is in great need. Often the Rohirrim have aided us, but now the Lord Denethor asks for all your strength and all your speed, lest Gondor fall at last."
"The Red Arrow!" said Théoden, holding it, as one who receives a summons long expected and yet dreadful when it comes. His hand trembled."

To give the Hirgons person more "face", it would nice to know, that in Dunharg Merry noticed the large similarity Hirgons with Boromir. Hirgon was great/tall, wears dark-brown hair, grey eyes and has a noble and charismatic aura.
"As the Man approached, Merry was struck once more by his strong resemblance to Boromir, even as he had been when the rider had first entered the king's tent upon his errand. Merry had been so startled, he had cried out, thinking for the briefest of moments that perhaps Boromir had survived after all and had somehow made his way here to Rohan, to present himself at Théoden's court. Somehow I get the impression that Master 13thraven wants Hirgon to win - just a wild hunch! And I agree. As several other members have already said, he's been suggested on numerous earlier occasions, and maybe this is going to be his month at last. Certainly a worthy contender. So he gets my vote, but it's still a pretty neck-and-neck race, with just three votes in it and a day to go...

Dear barliman, dear twrich, dear estel and all the you others those support HIRGONS VOTE !!
Thank you very much for your support!! Together we will win and have the chance to get a an certainly impressing miniature, which lets the alliance between Rohan and Gondor revive.
Let me say it with Aragons words:
"Hold your ground, hold your ground. Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down, but it is not this day. This day we fight! For all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!"

And VOTE HIRGON !! :-))

Dear Theobald, I'm sorry, it was not my intention to be stepped to someone too near. I will avoid in the future quotations from films and will only take the words from Tolkiens original work. Beg your pardon, there are the horses rum away with me......

Well, it looks like the deadline to vote has passed. So I thank everyone who voted for Hirgon. This was the sixth or seventh time (I lost track) I have recommended him, and as mentioned, others like estel and thingol have suggested him also besides me. It proves that if you like an idea and keep suggesting it eventually it has a chance to be made.
So I hope that those who suggested the other three ideas keep offering them, as I think they would all make good figures.

Nay, never take it too seriously what I say, Master 13thraven. I did like that quotation very much indeed. So there's no need to beg my pardon, as I simply complained about the fact that trees were not mentioned in that speech which that youngblood held in front of the gates of Mordor ... though, to be honest, by then we were not remembered, though we went in a night in front of Helm's Deep and from then, we simply were forgotten ... there was just some kind of mist left in the morning, that stirred everybody watching it ...

Deadline never seems to cease in Ireland, Master Twrich. So, congratulations for Hirgon presenting the arrow, after all that time. Imagine Master Theodred had taken that much time to consider that arrow to be considered as something to contemplate about ... well, then Gondor would have been lost, right?

Yes, Master Ent and Dave, every suggestion I have made that eventually won took a long time; including Theodred. But I am a little Entish . . . you know, patient. And it seems to be a pattern . . . good ideas eventually win.
So I encourage everyone to keep up with their ideas.
