Due to the surprising balance of votes during the first round I am forced to allow only the top two winners to go forward. They had the same amount of votes. Otherwise I would have 6 finalists, far too many and it would make the first round rather irrelevant.

I have to go with Aragorn finding the sapling as this is a scene from the book that I would like to see realised in miniature.
Good luck to both finalists though ;D

Difficult decision all round, but I've opted for the Huorn.

It's time for Aragorn and the White Tree ... for me, It's a very emotive scene that acomplished Aragorn "fatum" (in the good sense of the word). And with the bonus to challenge Chris Tubb to make a small white tree, could be a delicate scene with his little leaves and branchs. We haven´t seen many trees in Mithril range - Obviously not counting with all our beloved Ents & Huorns-, if I'm not wrong , we only have the elf girls on a tree (well, and a the one with the squirrel but that's not really a Mithril Range miniature, as many of you know).

Some Numbers : Aragorn appears in 15 references made by Chris Tubb (4 of which are 54mm, one is LR, one is LT, one in the Death of Boromir, and one ... as a baby) that makes 8 figurines in the M range and only one as king Elessar (MS298) or as Gondor army officer (MS470). though Aragorn appears many times, this character is far from "illustrated" by Mithril in all the roles he has occupied during the whole Lord of the Rings saga and I think this would be a great figurine though "single", I think it would deserve some little furniture (the sapling has to be ... a sapling and I hope Chris will accept that... I can't imagine having it as something else than a small vignette , even if it is not a vignette month indeed

Hello to all! I have been away with one of my Squadrons conducting combat operations in Afghanistan. I have missed quite a few Fellowship votes but things have been very busy over there. Two very worthy choices this month but I cast my vote for Aragorn as he is my favorite character.

Cool! and another pose of Aragorn among 15 others is going to be in the Mithril range.... The fifht in the fellowship range Very nice. And what about Mithrandir Gandalf? He will be missing in that scene forever, as I do not expect that he has a chance to win when suggested as a single mini And there is - as I know - just one Gandalf the White. He is a main character!!! isn't he? You can't leave him out Without Mithrandir leading Aragorn to the slopes of Mount Mindolluin Aragorn will not have even found the sapling I would have liked the idea much more as a little vignette with Gandalf, Aragorn and the sapling on a little rocky base. makes much more sense – Sorry that is just my opinion I do not understand Folks vote for Aragorn finding the tree, but folks don't let win the crowning of Elessar (which was in the past suggested) which is much more important, isn't it? But let it go like it likes.....

Thank you for your service, Savage, and welcome home!
I have voted for Aragorn also, although I like both ideas. I Just think the White Sapling scene is very important and not yet produced by Chris.
Harold, you correctly mention that Gandalf was there, but he stopped at a distance from Aragorn, who went forward to the sapling alone. A vignette is a close scene. Better to have this figure and then build a scene of a mountain side and use one of the many existing Gandalfs placed a foot or so away from Aragorn.

Yes, Twrich... I think the same. When I make the proposal of Aragorn mini, I think too that Gandalf could be there, but I will be fit better on a bigger scene with Gandalf at some distance of Aragorn and the sapling, as I show here: img-fan.theonering.net/rolozo/images/sweet/sapling.jpgI dont think that Aragorn finding the sapling it's less important than have the Crowning of Elessar. After all, we already have a miniature of Elessar crowed with Arwen (ms298), and Aragorn finding the sapling covers another important moment of Aragorn's life - I think that this is one of the 3 relevant events of Aragorn's life still not represented on Mithril range (the other 2, IMHO, are "Aragorn healing Eowyn" (that reveals him as a true king) and "Aragon as Thorongil" (it shows his years disguised but helping his people))

Two very worthy choices this month but I cast my vote for Aragorn as he is my favorite character. I have one friend from Croatian army forces in NATO... he was also in Afganistan for a 6 months.... He was not exactly overjoyed when he returned.... Good to have you back healthy and in one piece Master Savage. Yes. Here we need every true Mithril friend.

This time I am with gildor and Imisiel, because I will also like to see that sappling and the scene is very suggesting. My vote for Aragorn.
But let me tell you that the idea of the huorn is also very interesting (I think I voted for it on the first round, but can't remember) lol

I'll try again next month - I think the sapling could do in second try I agree that Huorn is a magnificent winner - We will have a great mini in Mithril Range.

well indeed we'll have another huorn but the single one we had was a bit lonely... for sure if the sapling is resubmitted I'll vote for it, even preferably if it is a Vignette month suggestion that would allow for better detail of this wonderful scene!!

Yes, I think too it will fit better in a vignette month, Gildor... I'll wait for that, probably
