Welcome to another exciting chance to add your ideas and dreams to Mithril's LOTR miniatures. Post your suggestions here. ONE per member.
This month's ideas is for single figures only, so no mounted or Vignettes (more than 2 people or a lot of furniture + two people) please. A mounted figure counts as two figures (horse/camel/warg/etc)
The only other restriction is that the figures MUST conform to our license, so NO Silmarillion based characters are allowed. They have to be in the Hobbit or LOTR books. The final say is ours and no arguement will be allowed. Ask if you are worried about its eligibility.
Please submit ideas in the following format ONLY:
IDEA TITLE
"this is why I think 'Idea Title' is a good idea for this month..."
Make the title stand out (within reason) and separate from any supportive text by a paragragh. This will prevent Chris accidently overlooking it when he compiles the voting list later on. Otherwise it could be mistaken as a comment not a new suggestion.
Please add some quotes about where it is mentioned or give descriptions to promote your suggestion. Even add a picture or submit it to me to add to the gallery page. If you drum up support NOW, the you have a much better chance when it is time to vote.
Voting will begin on the 16th of March (first round). We stop taking suggestions at 16.00 GMT on the 15th.
You may add comments about other members suggestions as well. If you post any suggestions elsewhere it may not be seen or credited. Please post any suggestions in English. (That is all I can respond in, sorry).

There and back again " Bilbo in mithril coat with Arkenstone" Bilbo, wearing his mithril coat, bows presenting the Arkenstone to Thranduil and Bard. He also wears Sting on his belt. The one ring is in Bilbo's pocket, visible in relief. This is the only event where Bilbo can be represented wearing the mithril coat (during battle of five armies, he was quickly knocked out by a stone and still wearing the one ring, so invisible). I wonder if the Arkenstone could be not metalic, but transparent in resin for instance...or even mineral !

fact that the witch-king is called this way predates his reign in Angmar... There are no witches in the realm of Angmar except if you go into fanfiction of course

Goldberry murmuring to water in the river Withywindle.[glow=red,2,300][/glow]
Goldberry is in the river, water up to knee, raising her skirt with one hand. She is bending over the river flow and touch the surface with the other hand.

well fanfiction has nothing pejorative there are many fanfictions around. I consider MERP fanfiction, it is my way to distinguish it from tolkien canon that's not meant to have a bad meaning, it is used everywhere no need to be sarcastic I think I was just adding my two cents as to the fact the "witch-king" of angmar was not there meaning it was a realm with witches at all as well as there may have been... the "sorceror" lord of the nazgul became known as witch-king when he chose to establish his kingdom in the mountains of angmar and gathered to him many orcs and men to serve under his banner) but this is widely known

King of the Mountains, . He was the lord of Daen Coentis, ancestors of the Dunlendings and (indirectly) the Druedain (Woses) of the White Mountains. He pledged allegiance to Isildur at the Stone of Erech. However, these Men later refused to aid Isildur in his war against Sauron, they came to the aid of neither side, but instead hid in the mountains. They had previously worshiped the Dark Lord during the Dark Years. As punishment, Isildur cursed them; saying that they would not have peace or rest till they fulfilled their oath upon his command or that of his heirs. Basically represent MS439 character, in human form, before becoming the King of the Dead. Cheers.

Witch king must have witch queen he can not just cast a spell, he must be somewhat entertaining..... In the dark and cold Angmar nights... but..... this is no reason do delete your great suggestion dear friend.... If we have many no name wizards... sorceress, soldiers, and similar characters we could have lady witch... like M95 Saviga the king's consort...

I suggest again:
Female Animist (or witch) of Angmar casting evil spells
So far there is no female figure in the Angmar ranks, so I do resuggest a eccentric looking female in the service of the army of the Witch-King maybe of Black Numenorian origin or of a tribe of the Hillmen or even a Half-orc There are just a few evil female figures, so maybe time for a new one. She should be pictured in a dymamic "doing magic" pose either with her arms or some rod or staff to control and strenghten the fighting powers of the Angmar Warriors, Orcs and Trolls
There is no exact description of the Angmar Army but why should there not be some malicious thinking women in their ranks?
And remember dear fellows Gimli the dwarf calls Galadriel a elven witch before he meets her and makes friendship with her, so the term "witch" is used by Tolkien and if a good character is named as witch why shouldn't there be real evil ones?

GANDALF PREPARING TO LIGHT A ROCKET!
OK, I know it's yet another Gandalf, but I just think it would make a rather nice little one-figure diorama .... I'm hoping a single rocket won't be construed as "a lot of furniture"!
