Hi fellows
Personally, I really enjoy the resin cast of Minas Tirith enclosed with the DVD release of RotK (even if the doesn’t fit my vision nearer to ICE product). Does Prince August allowed by copyright to develop cities or is it limited to Characters? If no copyright infringement, maybe you may ask the community about such a serie? Regards

Well Mornedhel, actually I already suggested this in the past in a list of suggestions to "boost up" mithril/PA activities... well the idea was to release "buildings" or "furniture" in the tolkien universe. The idea had been taken into consideration by Lars Edman as some of such furniture would not even require licencing but I have no further news in this matter...

Part of buildings (round door, windows...) will be intersting indeed and a pity you get no news (I think PA have to organise more pools to collect our buying intention) The idea here si to get a whole city or village.

well a whole city could be a "series" of several references of buildings/furniture so that people are not forced to buy all of the items if they only want one, but if they collect or want "the city" well there is an existing "set"... I had suggested it done under some sort of "MF" prefix if included insinde the regular referencing numbers or also dedicate a completly different referencing for all that is not "figurine" but "furniture"
I'm still surprised I have not been given any follows-up on the idea as it was considered a good idea by Lars and "a possible" one actually... maybe they don't have enough feedback on the topic?

I don't know if this helps or hinders, but I have magazines from the late 1980's which show how to build Mithril or Ral Partha size-appropriate buildings out of foam board, tiny balsa wood trim used often for Dollhouses, and a Dremel(Or suchlike) hand tool. I use also plaster of paris, wood shingles, about to be tossed (binned) wallpaper samples or books from paint stores, and my best friend styrofoam (all my pals save this for me.) Dead Bonzai plants are also awesome- they keep their color for years. When my friend's die- they know who thinks it's the best dead plant gift ever! LOL

Oh- also all dollhouse stores sell tiny round windows, at just the right size- not sure what the metric is but there is regular dollhouse size and then 1/2 size for people who make these one room thingys- also great to do small scenes inside. I guess this wasn't helpful Guildor, but I started painting in the 1980's so there was nothing in the US for us really. Do-it-yourself was what you had to do. Smite me if you must.

Would it be possible to scan those pages and make them available (perhaps in private to avoid issues) to all those interested? Cheers Tolwen
