Due to time constraints I will only have one vote this month, however you can change your vote if you wish at ANY time. The initial vote is blind so please vote for the suggestion you most favour. Once you have submitted your vote you will be able to see the current status of the vote and can at that stage decide to change your mind.
Please note that this is the ONLY vote for March, so the most popular idea will win. Chris Tubb will decide the winner in the event of a tie.
This vote ends at the end of March so don't delay in submitting your idea. I would appreciate if all members take part. Remember if you have any problem accessing or using the vote then please email me prior to the deadline.

I just wanted to say that there is an error on the part of Michael to indicate the name of Eärendur. As you all know he is the last king of ARNOR, not Gondor....

Hi Michael,
This is the second month in a row with only one voting round. And with only seven suggestions, I can understand why, time constraints or not. But if you propose this as a change to the rules, please let us know.
But I would hope that if there are eight or more suggestions we go back to two rounds. The whole idea of two rounds of voting was to allow people to vote for their own suggestion in the first round, and then vote for between three and five ideas (depending on the number of total suggestions) in the second round of voting.
It is also an advantage to Mithril to have two rounds of voting as that creates more visits to the website and more interest in the FG in particular.
And there have been many instances where an idea for a figure had the most votes in the first round, but a different figure suggestion won the second round to be produced by Chris.

Hi Michael, This is the second month in a row with only one voting round. While I understand your points there are some things you may be missing. 1. When the club started we had one vote, not two. The reason for two was to refine the vote, this now can be achieved by retracting your vote and resubmitting it at any time until the vote closed. 2. Because the vote can be redone at any time, members have an incentive to return to the forum regularily, even more than before, to see if they need to update their preferences if their original (or second) favourite idea seems to be losing popularity. 3. Since the first round does not ultimately count, winning the first round has no effect on the course of the Fellowship other than guarantee that the idea reaches the 2nd round. Its only the final vote that really matters. Now I did not state that we would stay with one vote, I was trying it out due to time constraints and some members seem to actually like it more than the older way. This month will go back to two rounds again.
