Welcome to another exciting chance to add your ideas and dreams to Mithril's LOTR miniatures. Post your suggestions here. ONE per member.
This month's ideas is for single figures only, so no mounted or Vignettes (more than 2 people or a lot of furniture + two people) please. A mounted figure counts as two figures (horse/camel/warg/etc)
The only other restriction is that the figures MUST conform to our license, so NO Silmarillion based characters are allowed. They have to be in the Hobbit or LOTR books. The final say is ours and no arguement will be allowed. Ask if you are worried about its eligibility.
Please submit ideas in the following format ONLY:
IDEA TITLE
"this is why I think 'Idea Title' is a good idea for this month..."
Make the title stand out (within reason) and separate from any supportive text by a paragragh. This will prevent Chris accidently overlooking it when he compiles the voting list later on. Otherwise it could be mistaken as a comment not a new suggestion.
Please add some quotes about where it is mentioned or give descriptions to promote your suggestion. Even add a picture or submit it to me to add to the gallery page. If you drum up support NOW, the you have a much better chance when it is time to vote.
Voting will begin on the 12th of April(first round). We stop taking suggestions at 16.00 GMT on the 9th.
You may add comments about other members suggestions as well. If you post any suggestions elsewhere it may not be seen or credited. Please post any suggestions in English. (That is all I can respond in, sorry).

Oin in Wargear At the Battle of Five Armies "Now the dwarves took down mail and weapons from the walls, and armed themselves." "Out leapt the King under the Mountain, and his companions followed him. Hood and cloak were gone; they were in shining armor" From the Hobbit
I will try this suggestion for the third time. Oin was an important member of Thorin's expedition and he does not have his own single figure yet. He is of course represented in the Unexpected Party.

BILBO, SITTING, SMOKING HIS PIPE
I will wish to propose Bilbo sitting comfortably, legs extended in front of him, resting, smoking his pipe. This is a happy day, he ate his second breakfast and waiting for the next meal, he took advantage of a moment of pure happiness sitting smoking a pipe, just before an old man leaning on a stick, with a blue hat, wish him a good morning and takes him in a crazy adventure )

I dare to suggest again
Tarannon Falastur
12th king of Gondor, the so-called “ship-king”. He was married to Berúthiel who he later set out on a ship together with her ten cats. Tarannon Falastur was an important king of Gondor because of his achievements for the Gondorian fleet. As we have his wife Berúthiel already (a very nice figure, by the way) I think it makes sense also to have her husband.

I hope that there will be more suggestions coming up for this month, just to have a wider choice for the few members who regularly take part in voting. So, just come on, please.

I throw in again a suggestion of mine:
TOM BOMBADIL with the ONE RING
From Lord of the Rings Book 1
In the House of Tom Bombadil:
Tom Bombadil took the 4 Hobbits to his house after the rescue from Old ManWillow While the talking by the fireside there was this breathtaking key scene when Tom Bombadíl asked Frodo to show him the One Ring, got it from the Hobbit and held it before his bright eye, then put it on his finger and DID NOT become invisible... Then he flung the Ring into the air, and the Ring vanished in a flash...
He is.
As Frodo got the Ring back, he was suspicious and put on the One Ring to try, and the Hobbit became invisible... wasn't seen by his Hobbit fellows but he was seen by Tom Bombadil even so!...
I imagine Tom as single miniature standing with the Precious between his fingers holding it in front of his bright blue eye (paint job) or even on his little finger, He should not be to slender, the fellowship miniature MS297 of Tom with the badgers is superb.
Cheers, Hwolf

Well, I just had a look at the conditions for suggestions and the procedure of voting again. I think starting the first round of the april- vote on August 10 would be a little late, wouldn't it?

So, another re-try for me as well - if it is not too late Arthadan farmerI imagine a farmer, leaning on his scythe, weary from work and wiping his sweaty brow with his sleeve. His shirt is open on the top to give some ventilation. At his feet lies some of his harvest. If there any licensing issues with the farmer being from Arthedain, it could also be a gondorian one, since it is quite generic. Cheers Tolwen

Well, the thread hasn't been closed yet:
So I again suggest FEMALE LOSSOTH HUNTER
There have been many ideas about her suggested in the past, and I'm sure Chris would make an excellent figure of her. I envision that she would be wearing ice skates made from bone, as mentioned in the Red Book of Westmarch, and otherwise attired for an Arctic climate. A spear and a sack slung across her back are also items she might carry.
