Where does the time go? Its already almost 3 weeks into March. Wow.
Chris has supplied the list of ideas to me this month, gleaned from the suggestions submitted over the last couple of weeks.
This is going to be a single vote month so make yours count. It is an open vote so you can see the current status of the vote before you submit your vote.
I appreciate that some of you are curious about future releases and we have planned releases starting next month and extending on into the Summer months that will help us get back on track.

Alright then ... but before that, are there any further plans about upcoming releases of all the other figures that were successfully voted for since ... don't ask me when, Michael. - Sorry, I just dared to ask right here, as I guess that many others might also contact this thread here and I guess they many of them might also be interested in an answer to my question. Sorry, to have taken this chance to put this question in public here, as I just saw that you, Michael, opened this thread a short time ago, but I know that some information that might be given in a newsletter is missing. Furtheron I am sure that I am not the only one thinking like that. So, please, there's no harm intended with this what I just said.

Would be also interested to know the state of play for the new Hobbit boxed set. And for that matter any more M series?

I really like the Duinhur suggestion. But since last month was very short on figures, I will suggest one also:
Female Lossoth on bone skates!
This also has been suggested many time and by others as well. I will leave a description later, but I think we all know how she would look :-)

Akhorahil as king of Ciryatandor.Akhôrahil ascended the throne of Ciryatandor on the first day of S.A. 1919. He proclaimed himself the Storm-King. The pact between Ciryatandor and Mordor was sealed when Akhôrahil accepted the Ring of Power from Sauron in S.A. 2000. Thus, the Storm-King became the fifth Lord of Men to become a Nazgûl.

General of the forces of Harad At the battle of Pelennor Fields, rallying his forces. "Hard fighting and long labour they still had; for the Southrons were bold men and grim, and fierce in despair. And so in this place and that, by burned homestead or barn, upon hillock or mound, under wall or in field, still they gathered and rallied and fought until the day wore away.""Few ever came eastward to Morgul or Mordor; and to the land of the Haradrim came only a tale from far off: a rumour of the wrath and terror of Gondor." Great Swan of Arda - new attempt
I underline below the importance of this beautiful bird in Tolkien mythology.
Of Eldamar and the Princes of the Eldalië “Therefore Ulmo, submitting to the will of the Valar, sent to them Ossë, their friend, and he though grieving taught them the craft of ship-building; and when their ships were built he brought them as his parting gift many strong-winged swans. Then the swans drew the white ships of the Teleri over the windless sea; and thus at last and latest they came to Aman and the shores of Eldamar. “
“Finarfin was the fairest, and the most wise of heart; and afterwards he was a friend of the sons of Olwë, lord of the Teleri, and had to wife Eärwen, the swan-maiden of Alqualondë, Olwë's daughter.”
“And many pearls they won for themselves from the sea, and their halls were of pearl, and of pearl were the mansions of Olwë at Alqualondë, the Haven of the Swans, lit with many lamps. For that was their city, and the haven of their ships; and those were made in the likeness of swans, with beaks of gold and eyes of gold and jet.”
About Tuor and the fall of Gondolin “Then he dwelt in Nevrast alone, and the summer of that year passed, and the doom of Nargothrond drew near; but when the autumn came he saw seven great swans flying south, and he knew them
the Fellowship of the ring The swan ship ... Eärendil was a mariner that tarried in Arvernien; he built a boat of timber felled in Nimbrethil to journey in; her sails he wove of silver fair, of silver were her lanterns made, her prow was fashioned like a swan, and light upon her banners laid.
But also…
Tom Bomabadil wore in his tall hat a swan-wing feather.

Glorfindel at Rivendell
Glorfindel is a Noldorin Prince of great strenght and lineage, the House of Finarfin. He is Chief of the guardians of Rivendell and the second most important Elf after Elrond. Not least among his accomplishments was of no doubt instructing Aragorn-Estel in the ways of combat as the heir of Isildur lived in Imladris. He departed the undying lands with his brethren (though somewhat reluctantly) fought against Morgoth, and survived the downfall of Eregion and the War of the Elves and Sauron. He led a force in the Last Alliance of Men and Elves, as well as commanding the Elven army which defeated Angmar in the Battle of Fornost (TA 1975). Few of his kind remained in Middle-Earth by the end of the third Age. Not only strong, Glorfindel was accounted one of the Wise, and was a member of the Council of Elrond. In 3018 he met and protected Frodo and his companions on their way to Rivendell, and he fought the Nazgûl at the Ford of Bruinen. His horse was the great white steed Asfaloth. He sailed into the West with the Ringbearers at the end of the Third Age. In appearance Glorfindel was tall (6' 10'') and strong, with clear, bright blue eyes and golden hair.
I Know, we have this character two times on horseback and one time fighting (salute special)
I'd like to suggest him on foot in fine elven robes at Rivendell, fitting to Erestor and Galdor.

Just a little note here...
I won't suggest anything anymore until some suggestions at least from past months are released
Mithril has reached such a level in being late in releasing old suggestions that its even beginning useless to carry on suggesting, we are not even sure that past suggestions will be made. There has been STRICTLY no release since december, which means three months of "nothingness"
As a reminder, Mithril is ONE FULL YEAR late in releasing GF figurines , we are still waiting for March 2013 suggestion and even November 2012 suggestions
and even if there was a release of 6 of them in a row, that's not financially bearable for us collector that would mean we'd have to spend more than 120€ one shot....... no way
Release some figurines, or put a Standby to the GF program please... that's becoming ridiculous

Gildor, harsh words you chose, though they could have been mine. Thank you for referring to the first entry in this thread. As for putting new suggestions here I just want to point out again, that some months ago (!!!) I stated that I will not make any more suggestions here(though ideas I still have) until I have my last two winning suggestions (Haradan musician Nov.12 + Tarannon Falastur April 13) in my hands.
Sorry, but for me it doesn't make much sense to risk another winning-suggestion I would have to wait for and which might be released late in 2016 or late in 2017 (provided that there's no delay).
I am aware that my entry here is out of topic. I just want to explain again my point of view.

I fully support this view. I think that we should know where it originated this impasse. It really takes a long time. I left my suggestion few days ago, but I really wonder how it makes sense until the see new (old - long ago suggested) figures....

Celebrian wounded by a poisoned Arrow
Hello, it's a first time for me... Celebrian is not present in "The lord of the rings" but In the text, when Frodo see for the firts time Arwen, there is an allusion to Celebrian an the revenge of Elladan and Elrohir, who doesn't have not forgotten the torments of their mother... desoled for my English...

Rebuilding the Rammas A figure to accompany Ingold maybe. A man in mail and helm, but his stance would be partly bent as he hefts a stone in place in order to repair a section of the Rammas Echor. The groundwork on the base could include stone blocks and the man’s shield, cloak and arms, all nearby and ready to be used if necessary. BUT, as has been requested, can we please have an update on what the situation is regarding the release of previous suggestions (and The Hobbit release – only one more film to go before the boat is missed completely). It is quite understandable that some members are reluctant to take the time to make suggestions when Mithril Miniatures appears to be reluctant to offer any news!

We are moving towards having two new MS figures available in a couple of weeks (early April). On top of that we plan on releasing another two a month after that. I can only provide updates if they are known to me. Sometimes things delay our tool maker unexpectedly. For example yesterday we had our mould press have mechanical issues and our tool maker worked for most of the day fixing it. We appreciate your patience on these releases and rest assured we are going to release them soon. I will have this info plus a picture on the newsletter today.

Thank you, but for my English it is Google traduction ! I don't no if it's a good traduction... Or if your congratulation ist in fact the humour ! For Celebrian, I think that not for march because two votes aren't a lot.... But perhaps a vignette is better for undestand the torment of Celebrian...
For this post i don't use Google traduction
That Valar guide you in your quest !

Yes I also think so. A vignette whould suit better for the rescue of Celebrian. (I also made that suggestion a long time ago...) but vignettes are very rare at this time... just dreams...
I also wonder what happened 2012? - 6 fellowship releases, before that it worked well...
but don't loose hope! I'm still happy that the gold fellowship exists!
