Thanks for all the new ideas submitted by our loyal collectors this month. I have received the list of ideas that go through to the voting stage. I am running a single vote this month, so please be aware of that when you take part. I simply see no reason with the new site to use two voting rounds unless I get a lot more ideas per month that need winnowing down. Every member has one vote and will see the current status of the vote ONLY after submitting their vote.
As usual please include comments with your vote to support your chosen idea. The more work you put in to the campaign the more you are likely to get out of it.
This vote ends at the end of April.
For those that are concerned about Mithril being behind in their production of past winners I have a few points to address. 1. We did not delay releases to annoy or upset you. 2. We are trying to catch up and having some amazing figures ready for release. 3. I will bring up, to my boss, the idea of putting the Fellowship monthly suggestions on hold for a few months over the summer to assist in catching up. You can submit your opinion of this in the comments below if you wish.

Man of Koronande
From MERP’s Court of Ardor (ICE2500):
As a long time MERP fan, I’ve always been fascinated by The Court of Ardor. I know we’ve had Junast before, but another resident of Southern M-E would make an interesting mini.

General of the forces of Harad At the battle of Pelennor Fields, rallying his forces. "Hard fighting and long labour they still had; for the Southrons were bold men and grim, and fierce in despair. And so in this place and that, by burned homestead or barn, upon hillock or mound, under wall or in field, still they gathered and rallied and fought until the day wore away.""Few ever came eastward to Morgul or Mordor; and to the land of the Haradrim came only a tale from far off: a rumour of the wrath and terror of Gondor." I'd like to suggest something to be released this month :
The releases from the last 12 months
not that this suggestion is ironic, sarcastic or humoristic (however it may be) , but it would provide some "temporisation" for mithril to get back on their late releases. Even by releasing TWO suggestions EVERY month from now, it would take almost ONE YEAR to get back on schedule with the suggestions...
there really needs to be a little break I think...

I'd like to suggest a MERP Character:
Far Harad: Sangarunya the Black Númenórean
Sangarunya was born of Númenórean stock in Umbar, but his family did not reside long there. During the persecution of the priests of the Dark Worship, Ranculir, the High Priest and Sangarunya's father, was slain. Sazariel, his mother, fled the Haven of the Corsairs with her small son for Ny Chennacatt. She raised him to be loyal to her dead husband's Lord and Master, Sauron of Mordor. Within the Storm King's court, as a young man of good lineage and maturing prowess at arms, Sangarunya readily attracted the Ulair's attention. The Nazgûl developed plans for his subject, involving the military objectives of the southwest. Almost before he was truly at home within the ranks of the army as a mere captain, Sangarunya was appointed to post of Warlord. His subsequent victories fully justified the unprecedented promotion. Traveling lightly, Sangarunya wears the magic mail and the dragon-emblazoned, red surcoat characteristic of the mighty of Akhôrahil's forces. His red, leather faced shield bears the same symbol, he wields a Haradrian scimitar as weapon and his silver-gold helmet is of the karma design. He is an implacable foe and a brilliant strategist.

Felarof The father of horses as noble Rohirrim ... Only Eorl the Young was tame (but can we talk for taming such a friendship?) ... I imagine massive, standing on its hind legs .. . resembling our horses Frisian Type... l

Dear Master Eorldered there is already a release of Eorl on Felarof MS460. I'd like to see a rearing horse in the mithril range, either felarof or Shadowfax - but Mearas are not like Frisian horses.... that whould be a break having the running Felarof different to a rearing version, whouldn't it?
that breed of horse whould bette suit for a mounted knight, I think.

Hello Dear Halbarad,
I don't undestand very well your message... But i know the MS460 ! And i think to Felarof alone... Not with Eorl ! A "Felarof" savage, father of horses... I don't never see Felarof "in reality" but i imagine him with the proud, the maintenance of the Frison (not the color, or corpulence...)

Well, I have no idea, but I comment herewith:
I absolutely agree that there should be a break at this time to allow Chris to catch up. He has been doing this for so many years, I have to wonder when the last time was that he wasn't under tremendous pressure to produce, produce, produce. It seems to me that perhaps some time to review the old lists in a leisurely fashion and maybe even reread the books would be nice too! They may not be everyone's idea of beach reading but they sure are mine :-) !! So I am all in favour of a summer off.

Chris catching up has nothing to do with the delays. He has sculpted most of the backlog already. I do not support suspending gold fellowship activity, I look forward to participating each month and would miss it a lot if activity were suspended.

A Black Numenorean would be awesome! I remember nominating that type of character years ago. It is a missing figure from the works of Chris.
Troy is right, it is not Chris who is far behind in production, but rather Mithril/PA.

Hi to all!
Wow, what a big support for Sangarunya! Thanks!
My opinion about the last 12 releases is: Yes, let Chris catch up, but Please don't stop the suggesting and voting opportunity, but put them down to the half. (6 figures/themes - until Chris has catched up) Meaning, we members have one whole month to think and suggest and then 4 weeks to vote, two rounds again. That would give everyone more time, wouldn't it?
Cheers, Harry - Halbarad 2

I cannot agree with all you said, Halbarad II. - As far as I know it wasn't C. Tubb who hasn't been able to catch up with the releases. There also is some Company involved in the line of production, isn't it.

The delays do not have to do with Chris and his sculpting.

Allright, I'm sorry. Then let the company catch up - until we have our winning suggestions. But I don't like the idea of a long break in our voting opportunity Cheers, Harry - Halbarad 2 By the way: Hooray ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! C E L E B R A T I O N ! ! ! ! ! 12 winning suggestions ! Thanks to all collector fellows who liked my suggstions and made them win! I'm very happy - let's open the champagne bottle!
