Well, I am back after my week off and had a communication with Chris Tubb. He was fine with most of them but he was wary of Celebrimbor as he said its a grey area in terms of validity. I will reach out to our contact in Middle-earth Enterprises about it and perhaps it can be resubmitted another month. Due to this I have taken three others instead. Now it does seem that the Half-orc won the 1st round. However there seems to be a bit of a drop in voter participation so I hope the numbers rise again as this puts at risk the whole fellowship if barely anyone takes part.
As usual fee free to add comments in support for your favourite idea, even if you did not originally support it in the 1st round. No shame in changing your mind now the choices are narrowed.

I hope Gamling's grandson on a ladder with whip will win this time

It's taken Master Holger so long to get his weary orc to the top of the wall at Helm's Deep that I feel I have to support him (no that wasn't intended as a ladder joke), if only to reward his determination!

According to the first vote, CELEBRIMBOR should be in here, not Gamlings Grandson.
Not wanting to spoil this, but can you please restart this? Or do I read the first vote wrong??? [EDIT - solved, my mistake!]

OK. I read the text but somehow missed that first sentence. Comes from complaining loud when you are still a bit sick. Sorry, my apologies!

easy: the Half-orc climbing the ladder, and on top of it on the wall stands the grandson, throwing rocks down on the intruder... (...vision of a future diorama...)

Half-Orc it is for me also. So now there are 25 votes-at least one more than the first round.

The Half-orc deserves his place at the 'top of the wall', I reckon this could be a really nice figure assuming it wins (if I'm honest, three different H-O's on ladders would make a lovely vignette (assuming they have a wall to climb), but I would be happy with the one

"...if I'm honest, three different H-O's on ladders would make a lovely vignette assuming they have a wall to climb..." Yes, that would be my favoured option too. Maybe the design process will evolve as it goes along, like The Man's superb "Beregond at the Black Gate" vignette did. That would be a real treat!

So far still a relatively low turnout of voters by recent standards, so the result isn't yet a foregone conclusion. However, I hear that the Fat Lady has already booked her taxi for voting day!
Exciting, innit?

The highest number of participants that voted was 49 so far.. pretty sad if there are about 340 members

One rung a month to climb, how high the ladder will be, Master Holger?
