Its kind of unusual that the suggestion for May start before the final vote for April has ended. I will thus refrain from resubmitting any vote and suggest
Gloin, as sitting in debate during the council of Elrond
if he wins he could be the first of a mini-fellowship series, adding one lesser known member of the council every year or so...

I ask that everyone vote for their favourite figure. The reason I started the vote and the new months suggestions was that the 2nd round was delayed as I was on holidays.

This is my first suggestion in the Fellowship forum.
Mounted Rider of Rohan blowing horn. This would be right before the Rohirrum charged at the Battle of Pelenor Fields.
Most of the other armies have a soldier blowing a horn except Rohan. This would go great with the current Riders that are available.
I just want him holding a spear that is halfway forward and the horn in his other hand which he is blowing.

I kind of cheated last time by submitting Girion and King Bladorthin in the same suggestion, so as an unusual not often heard of character I submit King Bladorthin again this month in his own right. I see mention of him in the Hobbit - Inside Infomation where the spears made for his armies "Each had a Thrice-forged head their shafts were inlaid with cunning gold, but they were never delivered or paid for:"...... are mentioned. I imagine Bladorthin as an older, sadder looking king with long white beard perhaps in a MAIL hauberk with his shield and holding a sword or spear aloft.

bladorthin is a very contested character in tolkien universe... many debates are made upon What he is... a dwarf? a man? who knows.... there is no clear answer as this named does not appear anywhere else, nor this story of these spears... for the suggestion, this month I don't have much idea at the moment, I will pass my turn

Hi fellowship members! NUMEN for the WEST: still worth a thought of a fitting figure... (Elendil, Isildur, Anarion, Black Numenorian....) FORMEN for the NORTH: The Lossoth hunter has a good chance at the current vote... ROMEN for the EAST: the easterlings are already on the move, coming later this year... HYARMEN for the SOUTH: My suggestion idea for this month: a HARADRIM WARRIOR/CHAMPION mounted on trained WAR-CAMEL !!!Let's see: there is this this nice, precious figure M73 Caravan Guard Mounted on Camel, which is always rare and well chased at ebay's, lucky for the winner and seller, disappointing for all other collectors who don't get a grip on a copy of M73... So how about a new fitting comrade and "new chance to own" release of the camel-rider? I have got in mind an Haradrim champion fighter/warrior ready to strike with his scimitar/spear, sitting on the back of a charging, somehow light armoured dromedary... The figure should be a little bigger than a horse rider, size about similar to the M73, for fitting in the mithril range. I have send a drawing of my imagination to Michael, (Thanks Mike! ) Have a look, fellows: www.mithril.ie/Fellowship/gallery.htmlEver seen a camel-race? – better get out of the way! ;o) A truly awesome, worthy addition for all pelennor fields battle scene dioramas and every mithril figure collection! Strenghten the army of Mordor! Time for a bad one again! See also the title of I.C.E MERP sourcebook "Greater Harad", but more in action please! Cheers and happy voting, hwolf

Mae govannen,
That would be absolutely cool, as I like the Southrons very much! I would like to see more M- series like Far-Harad II, Easterling hordes (They will come!!), Gondorian provinces and so on. So you are right:
Strenghten the army of Mordor! Time for a bad one again!

Mae govannen,
Here comes again an old suggestion as the mounted Halbarad was so impressive:
As I like the side characters of LotR very much, I would suggest the following miniature: [glow=red,2,300]HIRGON[/glow] Hirgon brought the Red Arrow to Théoden at Harrowdale, in token of Gondor's desperate need for help from its old allies. Riding back eastward to his Lord, Denethor, Hirgon and his companion encountered Sauron's forces on the Rammas Echor, and were cut down as they tried to escape.
I would suggest a mounted figure, a little like a Gondorian officer, but with no heavy armour, as he has to be fast. He should have a visible arrow, carrying in his right hand in a real hard riding pose ( a little bit like Eorl on Felarof) a sword at his side, a bow an a quiver and some kind of dagger. He should have a cloak against bad weather. As I like the Halbarad miniature very much, I would be glad to see another mounted masterpiece from Chris T. and painting Mithril horsemen is a well rewarded job!
Vote for GONDOR!!!
("has no king, needs no king..." as Boromir said in the movies)

Well, as the Lossoth hunter seems to make it this time, I will suggest
Arvedui.
He should be pictured with hanging head and shoulders, wet, frozen hair, saggy clothes. Just like one who´s ship has sunk . . .

After much thinking...
I want to see a Dunedain Adventurer. Akin to the Northman Adventurer or the Dwarf Adventurer, Mounted or unmounted. This is a "thematic character." But bear with me.
Take a Dunedain character, a young and male figure. His look draws on the elements of the Arthedain Captain, the Northman characters and a little bit of the Rivendell Elves.
He is a handsome man, clean shaven and young (looking). Perhaps he has some Elvish blood.
He's dressed in mail over a woolen tunic, wrapped in a heavy cloak. He's wearing fine linen trousers and travel worn boots. Slashed to his back is a shield bearing the Seven Stars. A sword is slung to his belt. He has ornate Elvish bracers on his wrists, a beautiful Elvish brooch on his cloak and perhaps a necklace.
Perhaps he is holding an unstrung bow in his left hand...or a walking stave. Perhaps he is reaching for his sword with his right.
Maybe he's a Ranger of the North, perhaps a Ranger skilled in healing and lore who often travels alone. Maybe he's an aristocratic adventurer seeking fame and glory in the wars against the Witch King. Maybe he's a wandering animist or loremaster seeking knowledge.
He could be a MERP character, or a Ranger of the North figure, or one of Faramir's Rangers. He could be a mysterious stranger entering The Prancing Pony in a diorama or consorting with Halbarad. Maybe he could be used as a foot "companion" to the Watcher at Sarn Ford, or a traveller newly arrived to Rivendell.

I'm not shore if this one will be accepted, but I would like to see a miniature of Frodo singing & dancing on a table in the Prancing Pony, just before he fells of and the Ring slips on his finger. It must be a fairly small table, otherwise he can't fall of of it! Actually the miniature does fit in this month: Frodo mounted(on a table) ;D Wim

Hi all, I slightly prefer action poses, and in an effort to come with a original idea, my suggestion for this month is a Wood elf scout in action with digger and small axe. As a scout he shouldn't wear armour. I imagine the pose as follows : running fastly forward with digger in left hand, axe in right hand ; he can wear a bow and arrows on his back, but no cloak. As if he is hunting someone. Gerold

I suggest:
Elladan (brother of M339-Elrohir), pose and robe similar to M339.
I like this character and with that suggestion i want to make the "House of Elrond" a little more complete.

Please make all suggestions at the top of your post, make them bold, and make them clear.
That will make it easier for Chris to list it when he compiles the suggestions on the 16th. You can explain the reasons, add supportive text, links to pics in a separate paragraph.

Ooh. Better suggest something...
[shadow=navy,left,300]Angbor the fearless, mounted[/shadow]
From ROTK, The Last Debate:
And there men of Lamedon contested the fords with fell folk of Umbar and Harad who had sailed up the river. But defenders and foes alike gave up the battle and fled when we came, crying out that the King of the Dead was upon them. Only Angbor, Lord of Lamedon, had the heart to abide us; and Aragorn bade him gather his folk and come behind, if they dared, when the Grey Host had passed.
'That night we rested while others laboured. For there were many captives set free, and many slaves released who had been folk of Gondor taken in raids; and soon also there was a great gathering of men out of Lebinnin and the Ethir, and Angbor of Lamedon came up with all the horsemen that he could muster.'
Four thousands I sent marching from Pelargir through Lossarnach two days ago; and Angbor the fearless rides before them.

My suggestion is
"The Boar of Everholt"
Folca (Third Age 2804 – 2864, aged 60 years) was the thirteenth King of Rohan, a great hunter who famously cleared his country of the scourge of the Orcs, in vengeance for the death of his father Walda at their hands. Having cleared Rohan of Orcs, he rode to hunt the monstrous Boar of Everholt, but suffered a mortal wound from the beast. He was succeeded by his son Folcwine.

Mae govannen Harald Wolf, If this mini is in the final vote session you definitly will have my vote!! Long live the Haradrim. This is one of the best ideas!! (Maybe better than my own ) I would like to see Chris T. mass producing Haradrim, Gondorian fiefdom folk, easterligs and so on, but mostly Haradrim! Namarie ESTEL Hi fellowship members!
