Thanks to all the members who submitted these ideas. The 16 options should certainly prove worthy contenders for this month. This vote ends on the 30th at 16.00 GMT. The 2nd round will begin on the 31st. I ask all members to vote. The top 3 or 4 favourtes will go into the final round.

So this time I was first ... but still I would never publish what I voted for

But we know what you didn't vote for Master Tree! Vote for Anduril, Flame of the West ,and may it cleave the head from the shoulders of that foul Troll Drummer that leads an attack on the Men of the West! This moment captures a moment in Middle Earth's history (the re-forging, not the removal of a trolls head).

I voted for the bard. But then I would, wouldn't I? Gavin

I`ve always a fable for the Rohirrim and Elfhelm is one of the characterts I been waiting for so long - so my vote was quick and easy.

Presumably by some sort of oversight, BOTH of the suggestions I made have been listed! OK, I'd intended Elfhelm to be mounted, and my torch-bearing orc idea was put forward only when I found that no mounted figures were allowed this month. Problem is, I can only vote once, and I like both of my ideas - but on balance, I think it has to be Elfhelm.

I voted for my suggestion of Boromir blowing the Horn of Gondor. I would rather see more major characters represented in different poses than arcane/minor ones for The Fellowship. That is why I joined in the first place.

I voted for the dancing elven maiden. While a stereotype, it fits well for any Elven girl just as Arwen in Lorien or an unnamed major character of the first age.

I voted for Boromir. I think it would be a nice looking figure in a battle stance while blowing the horn.
