Well it certainly has been a fine line for choosing the top 3 finalists. 'Saruman as Sharkey' and 'Angmar orc captain' were just beated by 1 vote by 'Haradrim sheikh' to make no.3 in the final selection. I am sorry that we cannot select them all but that would defeat the purpose of the 2nd vote (narrowing the selection to 3 or 4.) the winner of the first round was: 'Elven sailor of the grey havens' Of course all that could change in this final round. It is up to members to vote. Your decision counts. VOTE NOW!.

Ellessar and infant are the type of figures that make GF figures so special, so on this occasion he gets my vote, but it wasn't an easy choice to make.

I also voted for Ellessar and Eldarion. This would give me a reason to buy Gilraen.

Just too hard to vote this time! Choosing between this three is quite a heavy duty. Elven sailor- how would it look like? What kind of Elf is that? Noldo, Sindar, Silvan?? Cirdans Elf? Eldarion and Ellessar a nice suggestion too, well a king with his heir, that has something of the gloom and sadness of Tolkien's books (because they have come to an end like the 3rd Age and Ellessars heir brings him and Arwen nearer to death) And last but not least the Haradrim sheikh? Strange idea, but I like strange things and the Southrons are nice, looking out of my window into the coldness of coming winterdays. MAYBE: Chris can make the Sheik with a female slave, only lightly clad sitting at his feet?? That would be great, wouldn't that? NAMARIE ESTEL

:-)
I doubt that the human slave will show up in a single miniature month. That would be a duorama... though I somehow doubt that this would be in the spirit of any of Tolkiens work. Reminds me, however, of the the original dragon that Prince August released (before the first Smaug), with two female slaves adjacent (certainly as companions to tickle his ears, not as food reserve).

Reminds me, however, of the the original dragon that Prince August released (before the first Smaug), with two female slaves adjacent (certainly as companions to tickle his ears, not as food reserve). I do not doubt, that it would hurt Tolkiens idea/world/spirit, but more that it would not be a "one-figure-only-month" in the case of a second figure. If one reads Tolkiens writings and especially the Silmarillion and other early Age stories, where evil starts his fight against Elves an men, one can surely get the idea of slavery as something evil and used extensively by the dark side to harm, demoralize, torture and devote the Free People. That is why I like such figures like Karagat, the high priest (M 99) just to give a glimpse of evil. The slave at the feet of a Haradan sheik shoul be a typical victim of the raids at Gondors coast. Concerning the Prince August dragon's slaves I think you are right: nice girls not for food but for a comfortable life of a Dragon

It's getting tense now The finish line is in sight, Aragorn is mounting a fightback, will the sheik hold him off?

So where are all the voters then? - there may still be about nine hours to run as I write this, but it looks like being another disappointingly low turnout. And where are the Bronze members we keep hearing about but haven't heard so much as a squeak from? Are there any?
As for the voting, I'd personally prefer to see the Harad dude win!
