MAE GOVANNEN GF-folks,
as I am a great fan of the evil men of Harad and one of my own idea of last month is suggested now again by anyone else I would suggest the following:
[glow=white,2,300]HERUMOR, Black Numenorean Lord[/glow], Dunedain refugee from the North, one of the first great Kings of Harad (together with Fuinor) and as such Ruler of Harad.
I like the idea of the ancestors of Umbar and Harad of the later 3rd Age very much as I like the miniatures of the corsairs, Chris has designed. AND! I like the idea of a Black Numenorean as a figure very very much. Let us delve deep into history and give Herumor a chance- Black Numenoreans are seldom in the late 3rd Age and seldom are the figures to represent them.
I would suggest this figure in a pose like Anarion (M-274) intermixed with the Northman adventurer (M-305), standing with one feet at a stone (of the desert of Harad) looking back to the North, where his homeland Gondor is. Herumor should wear a cloak, flowing in the wind, some kind of southron turban, a Gondorian breastplate and few armour, hidden by the longer flowing cloth of the Southrons.
Herumor should be a dramatic character (well he is Numenorean and that is tragic enough ). representing the inner fight of the race of Men, falling easily into darkness but also being the most hardest enemy of the dark side- this is Tolkiens spirit I think!

P.S.: If this suggestion is not possible 'cause Herumor as a name and character is only found in 'the Silmarillion' I will change the suggestion a little (maybe without that name, becoming Numenorean refugee from the North) but I like the idea of that figure!!
P.P.S.: Hey, it is even discussed that this guy became one of the Nine but that is just speculation!!
P.P.P.S.: As we do not want to give the "spies" of Sauron and T.E. (or G.W.) food and a reason for harassing Mithril, my suggestion could be changed to "Herumor – Black Numenorean astrologer", a MERP- character. Thanks to hwolf for that information of that MERP- character.
