Well usually I choose 3 finalists however there were 3 in third place so I have added all of them to be fair to those who submitted them. Bolg's standard-bearer won the first round, but can he keep up the pace with Tom only a couple of votes behind.
As I have stated over and over again, every vote counts, now more than ever. We have seen victories in the past being decided by 1 or 2 votes.
This is true democracy.
This vote ends on Oct 30th. However with the time change I am not 100% certain if I set this to end at the normal time so do not leave it to the last minute.

"the goblin army had gathered behind the resisted vanguard, and poured now in rage into the valley driving wildly up be-tween the arms of the Mountain, seeking for their foe. Their banners were countless, black and red, and they came on like a tide in fury and disorder." The Hobbit p.267

We also admire and respect the 'Lady of the Shield-arm', but, remember, Halloween is October 31st. It's a day for witches, ghosts, and...Goblins! So, come on folks! Raise your heads high above your jack-o-lanterns, and show the Goblin a little love for a change!

"Very fair was her face, and her long hair was like a river of gold. Slender and tall she was in her white robe girt with silber; but strong she seemed and stern as steel, a daughter of kings. Thus Aragorn for the first time in the full light of day beheld Eowyn, Lady of Rohan, and thought her fair, fair and cold, like a morning of pale spring that is not yet come to womanhood." If you really need something for Halloween, you can paint her as a "white lady" ghost.

hi collector fellows!
You make me really to think hard about the decision whom to give my vote!
I will have to sleep about that, honestly.
But where are all the hidden fans of " He is" ? I wonder.

It was a considerably harder choice than usual this month, because I actually like all five figures - so I went for the good old eeny-meeny-miney-mo process to resolve my dilemma, and ended up with Bolg's standard-bearer. Let no one say I'm unscientific in the way I set about my decisions!

Like you Barli, I'm having a hard time deciding. I think I favor Tom with the ring, good sceen in the books. Still, the others would make excellent figures as well. Guess I'll have to decide soon as we"ve only a few more days. . . .

I voted for something else as I must say, that the last Eowyn of the house of healing mini-vignette did not realy please me. Too easy to paint no challenge and as such not really what C.T. can do. I love most of his creations but not this one.

I voted for something else as I must say, that the last Eowyn of the hose of healing mini-vignette did not realy please me. I admit that the Eowyn in that small vignette was not exactly overwhelming. One more reason to give her a better incarnation. I was hoping for a sculpt more along the line of Celebrian this time, though I also would not be unhappy on a companion for Bolg, or the other options.

Yes Axel, that's a good reason to vote for Eowyn. Celebrian is such a great figure and like Beruthiel challenging to paint properly.

What's the matter?
First time of open critics on a figure? Don't you see the chance - if you don't like the Eowyn from the vignette (which was my suggestion by the way) that we can have a "nicer one" Eowyn standing alone, and not always in battle gear as some other miniature manufacturer makes?
And also by the way in my original suggestion it was the scene when Eowyn & Faramir stand at the wall with entangled hair - golden and sable - in the wind, but Chris has the final decision how the figures do look like, and if he decides the scene when Faramir presents the cloak of his mother the the Lady of Rohan, it's okay with me.
Did you not have been enough challenged to paint all the tiny silver stars on the cloaks rim?
There are lots of nice ugly orcs and so few female figurines...
Let's see what happens the last days/hours.
Cheers, HWolf

I would definitly like it much to see a new "princess-like" Eowyn in a long royal gown.

not the end of days.... Allright, there are Bolg battled by Beorn as bear, and Bolgs standard bearer now Congrats! ;o) Thranduil the Elvenking is there and his standard-Bearer. Thorin, Balin and Gloin at the Battle of five armies are regular releases, also King Dain and the standard of the Iron-hills but where are Bard the bowman as leader of the Army of Dale/Lake-town and his Standard-bearer?
Do the great eagles have a standard-bearer? ? LOL ....will be sure a nice centerpiece for a Five Armies Diorama if completed one day! ;o)
