This is an open vote, so you will see the current status of the vote before submitting your own. The finalists got the most votes from the 1st round.
This vote ends on the 30th of April.
Please submit your comments on why you think your idea deserves to be produced. Gather support and you could see your idea become reality.
I like that the ideas are a nice mix of races and personalities.

A good batch of finalists, but it has to be Hurin for me, not least because I suggested him several times myself in the past. I hope he does better this time than he did on those former occasions!

I voted for Hurin, but I fear that many people have voted Hurin thinking it was the one from the Silmarillion which gives him a lot of notoriety for the vote...

Hurin from Silmarilion wasn't "the Tall"...

Its not that Hurin That was Hurin the Not-so-Tall ;D Hurin got my vote, cos I think CT can do something with this character to make it stand out a little bit above the others.

32th.....
I was thinking the noldo elf will have a good chance,
but as I see that there is soo much support fot the man of the white city, keeper of the keys, who has had even the command for the town for some time I give him my vote also.
I'm sure he will be a splendid figure, just as Beregond.

I like the idea of another hero of Gondor, even if just a lord; I would also like Mauhur but more to see a whole set of Orcish fiends of Middle Earth and a wandering Noldor?? I would like to see one day 10 figures of wandering Elves, leaving Middle Earth to create one of the saddest dioramas one can imagine... Maybe Chris likes the ideas....................... Just another point: I was criticized for my suggestion of Angbor the fearless, as this guy needed a horse, because he rode together with Aragon to aid the city of Minas Tirith- so that was a quite good point. Unfortunately this is also the case for Hurin, the tall, warden of the keys, who (if I remember right) rode out of Minas Tirith to break the siege and start the battle on the Pelennor fields. So I would suggest a miniature with a nice cloak holding a key. What do you think?

Well, the race ist lost! Or won. Depends on your point of view. Even when there will be 46 voters like in the first round no one of the other suggestions can catch Hurin the Tall.
You can stop the second round, Michael.

SAURON'S BONES! Did Hurin jump out of the book and pay you guys to vote for him? Well, you gotta love the boldness of bombadil1963. And considering this forum's recent attendance record, he's probably right. Still, let's not count our eagles before they hatch! Reinforcements form Isengard are on their way! Yup! Now, if they can just remain focused on the mission...where's that blasted orc overseer?
LET'S GO YOU LAZY MAGGOTS!!! ARE YOU GOING TO LET SOME FILTHY MAN-CREATURE SHOW UP THE FIGHTING URUK-HAI!!! AND YOU CALL YOURSELVES ORCS? GET OFF YOUR STINKIN' TAILS AND VOTE!!!
[glow=red,2,300]MAUHUR! MAUHUR! MAUHUR![/glow]

Heh! Heh! Heh! Nicht bad bombadil1963. Danke...mein Bruder. ACHTUNG!!! There is no shame in defeat, only in not trying your best! This is the Uruk-Hai we're talking about. Even when facing overwhelming odds, they never surrender. They will fight to the end! Total victory or total annihilation! It is ingrained in them. That is why I love them so! Mein Kinder! Wir werden es schaffen, weil Gott mit uns ist! Komm in die huffe! Ich habe hunger! What am I saying? I don't know! ;D

So you all can see what you will miss this month! But that doesn´t matter: you will have a new chance next month and the month after next month . . .
The warriors are a little bit too much armoured for the wanderer, but I like this kind of armour a lot. It´s not that playful like other elvish ones I know. It´s more historical or very likely pre-historical cause those guys lived some ten-thousands of years before Christ (I know that he played no role in that story . . ).

What is right, what is wrong? One of my younger brothers had it, too, when he was a teen. For him it was his only Tolkien-inspired book. I had a lot and still have more (and more) . But it was the only thing he had that I was envious on. Nowadays you won´t get it in german anymore. That´s very sad . . . I have got more scans of Victor Ambrus´ artwork. But there seems to be only poor interest.

Poor interest? Not at all, as far as I am concerned . . . . This book was also for me a very long time the ONLY Tolkien-inspired book with illustrations. Beside the calendars. The illustrations are magnificent!
