In whole history of Mithril figures there were no characters from Valinor, i.e. Valars, Teleri elves or Vanyar elves from "Silmarillion". And what about Morgoth (Melkor) himself? What do you think?

What do you think? welcome amadeo, mithril is not allowed to do this, because of licence. they just can do figures from Lord of the rings and the hobbit and no one knows, if the appendix of the lord of the rings books is touched with the licence or not. so better mithril keeps the sure track instead of risking that the licence is withdrawn. Mithril made the tale of turin I and II (figures from this age) and got problems with tolkien enterprises because of the licence restrictions. namarie estel

Chris Tubb (sculptor) and Lars Edman (owner) decide what we produce for normal ranges and Chris oversees the lists of ideas submitted by members, and Mithril must send all figures information to Tolkien Enterprise before we manufacture them to comply with our license. Any Silmarillion figures are forbidden. We try to avoid upsetting T.E. as this complicates matters. We have nothing to do with Tolkien Estate, and as far as I am aware Chris Tolkien still has not sold the rights to any of Tolkien's other books (except LOTR and The Hobbit).
