And once more I've something vaguely trivial and annoying to suggest...
Cloaks!
I recently purchased LR 19 in that wonderful clearance sale - on top of several examples of LR 21 (Watcher At Sarn Ford - the Ranger guy), and LR 36 (Glorfindel). All three miniatures and presumably others have detachable cloaks. This is a minor inconvienience for some...but a boon for converters.
Cloaks are an absolute curse to do correctly in green stuff/modelling putty. Neither I, nor my wife who is a trained potter and sculptress, can make decent cloaks with green modelling putty. Just don't tell her I said that.
I even tried making a little mould to help me shape the putty, but it doesn't work very well.
What would solve my problem immensely would be if mithril released a pack of cloaks of the L19, LR21 and LR 36 examples for converters, ala the wonderful Weapons Pack for the clearance sale.
This would make me very, very happy.

Hi aelfwine, that one is a good idea! Meanwhile have you tried to do those cloaks with something as a base? I long ago made some flags with coke cans.... I'll try to explain. Serve yourself a coke and relax, then with a sharp knife or scissors cut out a square of that metal, be careful because it is very sharp!! and then you can work on it. I don't assure that this work but i did with flags and they are not exactly the same as cloaks, but maybe you can try. Good luck!

That's actually a good idea. Another trick that sort of works is to use a Prince August mould and put a flattened piece of modelling putty in there and then ease it out a while later. The main problem with that being the figure with the most suitable mould (the High Elf Captain), I don't have yet. Have the figure, but not the mould Gavin

With the new Britons released by PA, a few cloaks would be very useful for either converting to LotR or using as is maybe.
