Bring on those Corsairs. Thanks for the preview photos Michael, they look good. Do we have a figure on how many are in the range? I can't remember if it has already been posted.

Mae govannen,
yes, corsairs, that's what I dreamed of, when I read the books and the few passages about that naval threat. Hope we can order them soon. Will there be the possibility to buy a pack of them like in the Lossarnach range (saving money, and having more is always a fine thing)? I think they could inspire some people to create their own corsair ships or part of the haven of Umbar.
Oh yes, and some more pics and an answer of ddaines question about how many figures there are in the corsair series. and are there females (slaves and corsairs)?
It's a long way to Tipperary and a long time to wait.

We do not think we can release a pack like the lossarnach, but there is time yet to reconsider.

While I would appreciate another lump-sale like Lossarnach, its probably better not to kick the sleeping dog... I rather pay a bit more then risk the danger of loosing out on "military characters" at all.

Those "license theme" is quite confusing and more threatening than the Dark Eye in LotR . NAMARIE ESTEL

Is it me or do these Corsairs look to be some of the best detailed figures Chris has sculpted? The photograph really makes them look good. Well the decision was reconsidered to release a 'lump sale' like Lossarnach, but wow, prices have gone up considerably from that set to the Corsairs set - is this the new packaging or just raw material prices in general? Michael, If colllectors were to order the special offer could the price be reduced if the blister was discarded and the figures provided loose, or is that a minimal saving if it could be done? I have a rather large ship on order (although it seems to have foundered in seas unknown as it hasn't reached port yet), and will need quite a few of these fellows to populate it I think. My own bad news is that along with the last two GF releases, a massive car repair bill has left me still drooling but not able to order yet Anyhow, they look super figures and congratulations once again Mithril.

My Corsairs sailed into home port today and imho they have lived up to my previous comment. They are delightful figures and I'm prepping them prior to painting already. And the 'lost' ship has also finally limped into harbour - this will need quite a few figures to compliment it, being rather largerthan I thought, but if I do ever get around to finishing it it should look very Corsairish; the Admiral already stands arogantly on the 'Bridge'

Ddaines, I completely agree about the quality of the figures; they're great. - Though I think they're more in fighting poses than in poses people working aboard a ship. Maybe you should consider having some 30 sets of M130 (laketown boat) to have enough oarsmen to man the ship

And some more , I think I've counted 60 oars on this boat!!! The poses are just about right for me as I'm intending a ....... well you will have to wait and see ;D diorama, however for this painting comp that Mithril have challenged us to, well they are just right for that too ;D
