So, this is Christmas ... (again). To me. I just unpacked that captain and was fascinated. Good old Christmas-feelings came along with him, as I very much suffered last year about this time. I think the miniature is brilliant !!! Excellent details (e.g. the helmet) ... a figure I really like (not only because I do not have to paint it). Great! I would like to thank all of you who supported the idea of having a Christmas Figure again in 2006 !

Oh Dear, Has the Captain arrived already - I wasn't expecting it until January and have just questioned the Paypal request thinking it was for an autoshipment of the MERP figures which I had already ordered! OOP!

I received "him" by autoshipment with the 5 MERPs today. - So all I can say is that autoshipment works well. This time even the discount was considered in the bill. As far as I know Mary Ann considers shippings well. So this saved me some €s because she combined two releases in one shipment. First I was a bit nervous learning that the 5 MERPs arrived some days earlier in the US. But now I am absolutely satisfied. And by the way, David, it is a Christmas Figure (sic) ... that should not be sent in January as Christmas is in December. And for all of you who are criticizing delays and other inconveniences I would like to tell that I am very much pleased with the service Mithril provides. And as for Mr Tubb, you might imagine that he's not a machine you can put on or off ... machines don't get ill, they just break down and have to be replaced by others. - Put all the releases of 2006 in front of you - and consider. I dare to say that 2006 was one of his best years in sculpting. Thank you ... and wishing you all reading this a very prosperous and happy New Year

I was surprised only because I was sure Michael had somewhere posted that although a Christmas figure, it would probably not be available until January

I am somehow lost to the 54mm scale. I started to collect, but their feeling rings not true to me. I wish I would get another Arthedain soldier (after the good old officer from the first release) in the regular M range. The christmas mini looks good, but I will pass this one.
