Bonne visite

Yes, I imagine also that broken horn, sword & shield are on Boromir's chest. Here is a extract of J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings, Book 3, Chapter 1: The Departure of Boromir: "Now they laid Boromir in the middle of the boat that was to bear him away. They grey hood and elven-cloak they folded and placed beneath his head. They combed his long dark hair and arrayed it upon his shoulders. The golden belt of Lórien gleamed about his waist. His helm they set beside him, and across his lap they laid the cloven horn and the hilts and shards of his sword; beneath his feet they put the swords of his enemies."
I like this Elven boat by Anke Katrin Eissmann: The departure of BoromirI really hope this idea will make through the vote.

"Boromir passing over Rauros"
Boromir's body is placed in one of the fellowship company Elven boats, with his sword, belt, cloak, broken horn, and the weapons of his slain foes about him.
This occurs at the very moment when Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas set the boat adrift in the river toward the Falls of Rauros, and sang a "Lament of the Winds" as his funeral song.

I am very happy for Bilbo ! ;D Next time, i can suggest new ideas I had kept in mind for a while now . My vote goes to Gandalf as this is very original, and reminds me of M350, one of my favourite.

There and back again " Bilbo in mithril coat with Arkenstone" Bilbo, wearing his mithril coat, bows presenting the Arkenstone to Thranduil and Bard. He also wears Sting on his belt. The one ring is in Bilbo's pocket, visible in relief. This is the only event where Bilbo can be represented wearing the mithril coat (during battle of five armies, he was quickly knocked out by a stone and still wearing the one ring, so invisible). I wonder if the Arkenstone could be not metalic, but transparent in resin for instance...or even mineral !

I suggest again Bilbo with arkenstone, for sure most related to "the Hobbit": Bilbo with ArkenstoneBilbo, wearing his mithril coat, bows presenting the Arkenstone to Thranduil and Bard. He also wears Sting on his belt. The one ring is in Bilbo's pocket, visible in relief. If I remember well, this event is the only one where Bilbo can be represented wearing the mithril coat (during battle of five armies, he was quickly knocked out by a stone and still wearing the one ring, so invisible). I wonder if the Arkenstone could be not metalic, but transparent in resin for instance...or even mineral !

I suggest same as in 2010. first something that is related to "the Hobbit": Bilbo with Arkenstone
I imagine Bilbo with mithril coat presenting the Arkenstone to Thranduil and Bard. He also wears Sting on his belt. The one ring is in Bilbo's pocket but visible in relief If I remember well, this event is the only one where Bilbo can be represented wearing the mithril coat (during battle of five armies, he was quickly knocked out by a stone and still wearing the one ring, so invisible). I wonder if the Arkenstone could be not metalic, but transparent in resin for instance...or even mineral ! _____________________________________________________ Second suggestion is a something that might be usefull for RPG, Wargames, Dioramas and does not exist yet: Wounded Orc using "vitality drink" I would like to have an orc whose leg (or arm) is badly wounded (like you can see a bit of bones...). Using his weapon, he is smearing the liquid on his wound holding a clumsy flask between his teeth ;D.

Azog and Mrs Azog I would like to suggest Azog (father of Bolg of the North) and his spouse Mrs Azog. No idea what she would look like, but ugly probably doesn't describe it ;D. If I can stretch the suggestion to include a 'baby' Bolg sculpted into his mummy, wrapped in rags and possibly in some form of infant sling... Funny David, your suggestion was another idea I had...with exactly same wish to have a baby Bolg (sounds so nice ). But while re-reading Azog & Bolg history, I found no named mother, so I went to suggest Erlrond healing Celebrian. ;D

OK, i remain in healing theme ;D
"Elrond healing Celebrian"
In 2509, Elrond's wife Celebrian was captured by Orcs in the Redhorn Gate while she was journeying to Lothlorien. She received a poisoned wound and was tormented by the Orcs before her sons Elladan and Elrohir found her and rescued her. Elrond was able to heal her physical wounds, but Celebrian remained troubled by her memories and fear and she could no longer find joy in Middle-earth. She left Middle-earth in 2510 and sailed over the Sea to the Undying Lands.

The mother would be warming the baby in her arms. Some snow on her clothes & hair.

The (drunken) Captain of the Guard (hic!) ;D Not sure if he has been suggested before, but I'll suggest the Captain of the Guard of Thranduil's dungeons. As this is a singles month he would be standing (not straight), helmet skew-whiff on his head and a silly expresion on his face. Holding a large flagon of the best Dorwinion wine in one hand he could be gesturing to an unseen Galion the butler, enjoying an elvish joke maybe. An important factor would be a large bunch of dungeon keys attached to his belt. Being the Captain of the guard his weapon would probably be a sword sheathed at his side, but he could have a spear held in the crook of his arm to add a bit of interest. Very nice suggestion. You will have my support David !

Therefore , it is inevitable that if we only produce say 100 of a figure then these same costs will have to be recouped from these 100 figures, and the price for the figures would have to reflect this. Obviously if we could sell 50000 of each figure the costs would be spread over this larger number and the price /unit would accordingly be much less. If we obtain under 100 pre-orders we are only just breaking even and it will then not be viable to produce them.
Regarding your capability to sell more than 100 minis, I would like to highlight something: As a individual person, in order to finance my own collection, I managed to sell about 300 mithril minitatures in 3 rounds (1 week each), just using single auctions on ebay. And I sold these in USA, U.K, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Canada, even Japan and Australia! Why can I sell 300 minis in 13 countries so easily ? Because the product is valuable and great of course, but also because the auctions starting price was very low ! Look at Chris Tubb attic auctions, he even starts at 0,01£ and sell almost every minis 20€ (often much more) ! You see what I mean ? there is a market, there are customers all around the world ! So, considering this, how comes you do not sell the full stock of any MS instantly ? There is to be something wrong with your outside world understanding. Catching the eye of a customer is more important than reaching your expenses. We all here know and keep witnessing that, once a customer bites on mithril products, he comes back for years ! This deals with cognitive human being. Finally, regarding selling on ebay, please propose single miniatures, at low starting prices. Even if some are sold cheaper than expected, at the end, it's always better to sell 10 minis 5€ than 1 20... And It also means you bring joy to 10 customers instead of one. :-D
