Yes, I've seen them a time ago... It's a pity that was so many spanish painters in that forum that critisize Mithril minis... (well, I'm not impartial but I think that they aren´t neither)

It is also a shame that Elroi could not achieve painting of MB560. His painting is so brillant that he would have pushed hard for 1st place !

I really don´t think a lot of spanish painter criticized the mithril minis, only a few do it that, but they are too young, i mean that people who lives this world for years, know this minis and the time that they were created, now days the minis have another concept of construction and art and they are really diferent from the initial glory days If you read the post, you notice that many peoples remenber the mithril minis with great enthusiasm and affection, as i do, they were my first minis and they introduce me in the Tokien world

Those giving the criticism are more used to a different style more commonly found with GW minis (larger than life, less likely to be well proportioned, packed full of stuff hanging from it, and so on). It's just a matter of taste.
