Back to the normal way of voting this month, although I would like to hear from you if you liked the concept of retracting your vote, we might dabble with that more as it seems to generate extra interest.
You have until the 21st to vote. Its a blind vote, so you will only see the current state of the vote AFTER you cast yours.
The 2nd round will hopefully start the next day.
Once again remember to add comments about your idea, this is a campaign and you need to drum up support for your idea. Simply adding a vote, by itself, is usually not enough. Talk about WHY you like it.

I like the idea of having a bouncer in the Pony! - but that isn't who I voted for (how could I? - it would make Nob redundant. Well, more redundant wouldbe more accurate.).

I have voted! And it seems, for the right figure!!!! Bouncing inside the pony could make the others a bit frightened . . .

Well, my suggestion was: "What a great idea for a diorama, Theobald! Now perhaps another character could be a ROADHOUSE BOUNCER He would be a large man, perhaps with a club, hired by the establishment to break up fights between unruly patrons, and to keep the men from taking liberties with the dancers/barmaids. Chris could make this figure any way he wanted, but I imagine the figure would be posed as a man sitting on a stool, or standing with arms crosssed about his chest." I did not intend to put Nob out of work I was going along with the whole Haradrim dancer/merchant/musician idea for a diorama. I'm not sure why "Prancing Pony" got added to my suggestion. Oh well, there is always next month (and hopefully many more) to make suggestions. Read more: mithrilfigures.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=july2005&action=display&thread=1221#ixzz2CSMYZxn3

Bouncing inside the pony could make the others a bit frightened . . . It could also make dents in the ceiling.

Indeed, Master Twrich, I also couldn't understand why your suggestion was linked by "whoever it was" to the Prancing Pony. To me it was very clear that your suggestion was made as another figure that could be added to the Haradan-vignette-idea. Alas, I wish I had never indirectly complained about a missing musician, or two (just for the sound of it). Though ... it's so much non-canonical, you know. Last night I went through all those Tokien's work and could not find any idea of a Haradan musician, that's for sure. So the blame is on me. Sorry for suggesting such a figure.

Master Ent. there is no blame! And canon or not, no regrets about a suggestion for us to vote on. I think our group is responsible for many great and different figures. The musican will be in the second round, and I shall vote for it. The dancer needs music!

Yes me too! If it shows up that the haradan musician will have much supporters in the second vote, I will support him too! Middle earth is rich and various! Think of the dunlending carnyx player! That turned out a superb miniature! Sure there is also missing a war beating Haradrim with drum or horn, who has still not found the way in the rows of our Haradrim army on the Pelennor fields!

Who needs a BOUNCER in the Pony if there is enough scrumpy, the man in the dark ... and the right tune played to keep the patrons calm? But still, I can imagine this brute very well!
