As everyone must know by now, I always prefer named characters over generic "types", and especially named characters that have never appeared in Mithril form before. I've therefore voted accordingly.

I'm happy to see the hidden vote back. Allowing to retract permits everyone to correct any mistakes or to change their mind. Afterall, I feel this is the best practise...for a 1st round. Now I support the need for second round!
Regarding this month, winter is coming.

I definitely like the hidden vote, as a vote should be. - Though, of course, it does not leave any space for argueing or convincing others any more, or even to take out a vote from within the box and re-write it. I think that part of trying to convince or even persuade others could always already be done in the suggestion-period. I do agree, Milo, that sometimes there might be need of a second round if the first one comes to a tie. But then that one should also be a hidden vote, as anything else wouldn't make any sense, I think.
Yes, I am aware, Michael, that this might cause lesser contacts to the site, as then you always have to have a look at the result on the expiry date to know about the final result.
Maybe it would be better for us to promote and argue for suggestions from the beginning (i.e. suggestions). - Though, to be honest, there are just those 29 people voting (sometimes 32). Alas, these are just my thoughts and they're not intended to cause any harm. Michael,I do appreciate your attempt to change the voting system very nuch. So, let's see.

Hidden voting is better and more interesting.... tense situation those who put their suggestions and ideas, will be up to the last second....

On the contrary, I think hidden vote is less interesting et more boring. Change of mind have no visible effect on other votes.
Last month, vote was exciting and discussed between members, create frequent changes of mind and increasing suspense, all the ideas have their chance to win if arguments were found.
This month : nor discussion, nor thrilling course of ideas'rank
I think I won't propose other ideas for next months if they can't be discussed during time vote (i.e. increasing or decreasing votes are visible in real time according to discussion )
Sad

Ooops and now? Definetly the second round of voting whould be needfully... I don't believe in a second turn if the first one is funny, dynamic, thrilling and easily influenced !
