The 1st round is certainly a hard fought race, with barely a vote between the top three. Duinhir may have won the last round, but there are plenty of undecided voters out there and so victory is still anybody's guess.
This round will end at 23:30 on Feb 29th (remember its a leap year). Please post comments and add information to help support your favourite candidate, even if you originally did not suggest it.

I gave preference to other miniatures on the second round during last months, but this time I would like to see how that gollum may be, so it gets my vote.
Though I envision him mounted on a trunk, almost embracing it, and silently rowing with his arms, rather than just a couple of eyes over a watery surface.

Should Gollum win it, I would hope to see him realised like you envision him, just a 'couple of eyes' would in my opinion be a waste of a suggestion (even though he is more likely to be submerged to avoid being seen) .

I wonder – it seems concerning the last comments that there may be some confusion about the Gollum suggestion. of course I do not suggest Gollum swimming with just his head above the water surface! The base is supposed to be with water structure - but longer than that of Bilbo the Barrelrider with a log / small tree trunk half submerged in the water – NOT Gollum himself, maybe one hand or foot. and near the end a hump – that means whole Gollum figure mounted on top of the tree trunk embracing it with paddling feet and hands and in his face those protuberant lamp-like eyes. Right as maenas writes – maybe that's a better description! Thanks! This may be a visual idea / sketch for the "logrider"The scene as Master Tolkien describes it: Gollum the sneak is following the Fellowship in the three elven boats down the Great River Anduin, and Sam discovers him following: a small dark figure clutching to a floating log (tree trunk), "a log with eyes"

That's certainly what I'd hope to see if Gollum and his log should win.
