Well we are slightly behind schedule but we will plow ahead anyway. Chris has given me the list for this month and I am delighted to see so many great concepts available to vote on. This vote will end at the beginning of the 24th and I will start the 2nd round that day. As is traditional we have the first round as a blind vote so you only see the current status AFTER you vote.
Please remember to include comments as you can sway undecided voters at any time. Even if the idea you are commenting on was not yours originally you can still argue for it's victory.

May time - Spring time, love and new life Inspired by the very last passage of the novel: 'Well, I'm back, ' he said. – always liked that touching-the-heart-scene It is September of the Shire year 1421 and baby Elanor is nearly six months old Samwise Gamgee seated with tiny baby Elanor on his lapLotR The Return of the King Chapter IX The Grey Havens
At last they rode over the downs and took the East Road, and then Merry and Pippin rode on to Buckland, and already were singing again as they went. But Sam turned to Bywater, and so came back up the Hill, as the day was ending once more. And he went on, and there was yellow light, and a fire within; and the evening meal was ready, and he was expected. And Rose drew him in, and set him in his chair, and put little Elanor upon his lap. He drew a deep breath. 'Well, I'm back, ' he said.
Sam seated in an Hobbit-sized armchair, legs outstretched, perhaps his furry feet on a footstool and on his lap holding his tiny firstborn child, both with happy faces. – pure cosiness and peace

Bilbo kneeling on a tresure pile his left hand on the ground and in his right hand he is holding up the Arkenstone he just found, gazing at it!

Boromir Rowing I'll take a 'punt' (excuse the pun) and suggest Boromir with a paddle (designed to fit an Elven boat ). After all, one Fellowship boat will need company

FRECA Lord of lands either side of the source of the Adorn
Freca was a fat, arrogant, dark-haired descendant of King Freawine who appears to have had "much Dunlendish blood" in his veins, and probably considered himself more Dunlending than Rohirrim. Certainly he held King Helm Hammerhand in sufficient contempt that he demanded the king's daughter as a bride for his son Wulf (Mithril figure MS280). His main claim to fame in Rohan history is that he was killed by a single blow from Helm's mighty fists.
It's hard to be certain of much else, but when he turned up for Helm's council he brought many men with him, so it seems likely he intended to start trouble, and would therefore have been dressed ready for battle, albeit probably over his finest clothes. His hair, arms and clothes are likely to have been an exotic mix of Dunlendish and Rohirrim styles.

Nonono I still would like to see a Half-orc Hornblower of Saruman's Army
to complement the Half-orcs in the normal Mithril range. Almost all other races have their musiciens, but not yet the half-orcs (yes, except the drummer in the never released Half-orcs warband set).

The Banner-bearer of Esgaroth
A northman warrior of Esgaroth (Lake-town), finely dresses in full armour, with cloak and shield, and bearing the banner of Esgaroth. His shield is held upright in front of him with an arrow in it.
With the death of Smaug, the armies of Esgaroth and the Elvenking marched on the Lonely Mountain, thinking it empty and Thorin's party dead. The banner-bearer of Esgaroth stood before the gates to the mountain demanding from Thorin a twelfth share of the dragon's treasure in Recompense for the destruction of Esgaroth. Thorin shot an arrow are the banner-bearer, hitting his shield and the banner-bearer declared the Mountain under siege.

Do you mean a similar figure as the standardbearer of Lake-town in MV592 Bilbo Presents the Arkenstone Vignette ?

Haradrim Mumakil officer
The leader of a Mumakil unit, as standing in the war council and debating (or taking orders) on how to use his Mumakil in the coming battles. As the Mumakil are likely not desert animals, he probably comes from the fertile areas of Far-Harad, and does not wear desert garb. He wears the armour and trappings of both an officer and Mumakil rider - though he is not the rider himself, but commander of a platform. He could be depicted in a relaxed position, with his helm in hand or lazily on his weapon grip, in the other hand his staff of command or pointing out some aspect. He is oozing confidence, as he knows that he, his mount and his unit go where they chose to go - crushing all opposition. He is the master of the Battlefield, controlling the mightiest warmachine a mere human ever mastered. He fears nothing on earth but his own lords and gods.

Frerin, brother of Thorin and Dis. Died very young (48) in the battle of Azanulbizar. I imagine a young dwarf with noble bearing and strong character

Hang on, didn't the period for making suggestions end at 16:00 GMT on 15 May? It's now 17 May. Also, voting should have started yesterday, but I notice it hasn't....
So when will voting actually commence?

Seems that Frerin was overlooked when the list was made :-(
I have no problem with including latecomers, though. I see that dateline as a reminder rather then a rule set in stone. No guarantee you will be included if you come here later. Those suggesting before should make it, though. In the case of Frerin an edit to highlight it as a suggestion would certainly have helped.
Anyway, good list. Looking out for the votes.
