Thanks to all the participants so far. We seemed to have a tie from the last round. I picked the top three for the final vote. It is an open vote so you will always see the current status of the vote. Please don't leave it to the last minute to take part in case you miss out.

Can you imagine fox in such a tiny scale... not much bigger than cats who's sniffing around Radagast robes...... Go Dunadan...goooo !

It's Dunadan for me too.

I have to admit the choice for me was quite simple and it goes to the Dunadan, mainly because I can visualise this suggestion as a 'stand-alone' figure or as a part of a group.

Definitely, this is the month of the dunedan falconer for me. An excellent suggestion by Nino to complete our showcase

The "thinking" fox for me also - sly little brother of the wolf There are so many horses and riders so far – allright - one more with an additional small bird. If he wins, also fine! – but there is no mithril fox. futhermore the scene is right from the story (like the other couple) and it shows the nature of the peaceful Shire. I like to post some information for the other "fox fans" around here: There is a wonderful german illustrator Lady -– Anke Eissmann – she does beautiful artwork, showing - amongst other works - scenes and characters from the Tolkien stories just search for pictures >> anke eissmann the fox << or have a look at www.anke.edoras-art.de -> english -> illustration -> The Lord of the Rings -> I -> scroll down to picture 9 = The Fox (2004) That is ( my opinion) a wonderful artwork showing the scene from the novel. If anyone is interested please have a look by yourself, I will not post the picture here because of respecting the copyrights

Yes, she is an excellent illustrator - i would have bought "High Towers and Strong Places" even without her illustrations, but it was those that attracted me to the book in the first place.

I will not post the picture here because of respecting the copyrights Thanks for finding this. I was out hunting for a pic, but unable to locate one. Well, with all due respect to the copyright, here is at least the link to the page with the image: www.anke.edoras-art.de/anke_tolkien_lotr1.htmlAnd here is a life one: julienkraakman.deviantart.com/art/Sniffing-Fox-283428787That said, remember that (after reflecting the text imho) the Fox can also be made in a single month - so if you want that Dunadan, or Arwen & Aragorn... though a small vignette base would of course be perfect :-)

Should 'Brer' Fox and the sleeping hobbit win, it would be nice if CT were to make it hobbits as this would be in keeping with the illustration and the book.

Ty for sharing. This month my vote would be split between the three because I like them all a lot, but since an Aragorn at the black gate was just released, I won't vote for another version of him, at least for now. For the other option (hobbit and fox) although it is a very poetic/graphical I prefer the epicness of a Dunadan with a hawk ^^

I have voted for the Dunadan - I have already an idea to built a MERS adventure around him. Do me a favour and don't spoil this idea ;-)

50 votes in the first round – only 39 in the second. Where are the other 11 votes?
I just wonder...
