I have added the three top ideas from the 1st round. You have until Monday July 2nd to take part. One vote per member. This is an open vote so you will always see what the status is.
Please remember to comment too, as there are a lot of undecided people you can presuade. The 1st round winner was 'Gandalf on cart entering the shire' but only by 2 votes.

I've opted for Sangarunya because there are other Aragorn and Arwen pairings, and whereas there's already a very nice Gandalf and cart figure available from GW (yes, I know, I shall go wash ma' mouth out after mentioning them...), no one else on the planet will ever think of producing a mounted figure of Sangarunya, only Mithril. Even the Mithril range includes very few Black Numenoreans, so any addition to their ranks has to be supported.

No offense Barliman but I'm a strictly Mithril kind of man and this most excellent Mithril range just doesn't have anything like a "cart" piece. I feel we have many mounted and human figures (including Strider & Arwen standing together). Yet a horse drawn cart with a seated Gandalf is truly unique... to this line of figures. Just as the Watchers at Cirith Ungol is a breath of fresh air to Mithril I believe this one would be as well. I hope Master Tubb continues to allow more "outside the box" type figures (be they architecture or otherwise) going forward. Just my own humble opinion of course. As a side note as I don't know how else to ask but is something wrong with the Mithril Faerylands site? I've been unable to access it at all for a week. The webpage keeps "timing out" and never connects.

Is the GW figure of Gandalf on a cart 32mm? If not how does that fit in with the look of Mithril? I agree with mindx2. This idea will be unique and unusual. Besides, isn't Sangarunya an ICE figure? Not that I think Middle Earth/Mithril figures shouldn't support various game platforms but I thought Mithril was no longer associated with them. Furthermore, the reason as Barliman stated, "no one would make a Sangarunya figure" is because there are countless figures from other modelers that could substitute for this idea. And with the adherence to Tolkien's original text, Mithril would do great honor depicting this vignette in C. Tubbs classic sculpture style. I would be happy to provide an illustration of my idea to Mithril if wanted. As a side note- I envision a two wheeled cart not a 4 wheeled wagon. The hitch would be simpler on a cart than a wagon.
Just saw the Watcher and the Easterling sculpts- outstanding!

There are so many cool things one could do with Carts!! Not just as Gandalf entering the shire, but two and poof, there’s a cart full of dead orcs, or the dead of Gondor, plus the sitting down Gandalf is perfect for the scene right after one of my favorite lines; “Frodo, if you don’t open your door at once I shall blow it...” and then they have tea and sit down and smoke. So another thing for that ‘xtra’ Gandalf! Well, if you’re into making certain scenes from the books. Carts are awesome and if it were me, I would have both Gandalf and cart/no horses, gads how many extra horses (Bill) do you have? Then I would also sell the cart and oh, something like one dead guy. Twofer!!! So that’s my .02cents

I agree with rohangrl; a nicely crafted cart with Gandalf smoking his pipe would be awesome for me.

I think it's fair to say that victory for Gandalf and his cart is already a foregone conclusion at this point. Can't remember who suggested it, but congrats to that person. It will be an awesome addition to the range - though I shudder to think what the price might be!

Yes surely we have a clear winner this month and a worthy addition for all mithril collectors and fans – including me – Well done, Gandalf & draught horse, pony, donkey, ox or whatever.... (actually it is not mentioned in the novel what animal pulled the cart ... ) but surely not the last time for Sangarunya mounted to be seen here around – I will keep him in mind for future

I'm very excited by this one and will gladly pay the price for Master Tubb's sculpt!

There's still a day to go, so don't take it for granted!!!! With the new production methods I am really looking forward to seeing what CT does with this. Has there ever been such a winning margin before?

I don't think so. Very impressive indeed. Didn't even need round two!
