We had some ideas dropped by Chris, these were the Balrog and Sauron. Both were deemed too complex for a single figure month. Sauron was also deemed too similar to another pose.
This caused a slight delay in the start of the vote but we are still able to hold two rounds of voting.
The 2nd round will begin on the 25th of August.
You may add comments about other members suggestions as well. If you post any suggestions elsewhere it may not be seen or credited. Please post any suggestions in English. (That is all I can respond in, sorry).

Arathorn II hunting orcs.
"And it happened that when Arathorn and Gilraen had been married only one year, Arador was taken by hill-trolls in the Coldfells north of Rivendell and was slain; and Arathorn became Chieftain of the Dunedain. The next year Gilraen bore him a son, and he was called Aragorn. But Aragorn was only two years old when Arathorn went riding against the Orcs with the sons of Elrond, and he was slain by an orc-arrow that pierced his eye; and so he proved indeed shortlived for one of his race, being but sixty years old when befell."
-LOTR Appendix A
I envision him still in a stalking position, perhaps with bow at the ready.

Bolg leading his army
The great new "Hobbit Box" needs a further bad character. Bolg will make the Box more complete. I see Bolg with a whip and a great mace. He wears shinpads of metal, a gauntlet and a flat helmet with two horns.

Inspired by the very last passage and last words of the novel: 'Well, I'm back, ' he said.
Samwise with baby Elanor
Samwise Gamgee the Hobbit sitting on/in an Hobbit-sized chair, (maybe an comfy armchair with fitting footstool) with his firstborn tiny, tiny Hobbit baby girl (six months old) upon his lap, both looking at each other, smiling and laughing.
The Lord of the Rings The Return of the King Chapter IX The Grey Havens
At last the three companions turned away, and never again looking back they rode slowly homewards; and they spoke no word to one another until they came back to the Shire, but each had great comfort in his friends on the long grey road. At last they rode over the downs and took the East Road, and then Merry and Pippin rode on to Buckland, and already were singing again as they went. But Sam turned to Bywater, and so came back up the Hill, as the day was ending once more. And he went on, and there was yellow light, and a fire within; and the evening meal was ready, and he was expected. And Rose drew him in, and set him in his chair, and put little Elanor upon his lap. He drew a deep breath. 'Well, I'm back, ' he said.

Theoden appeared several times in the Mithril range; in his evening clothes (M27), mounted (M260, LT06), dying (MB279), sitting on his throne (MV361), dead (MV419)… but we don’t have him yet in armor on foot, so this is my suggestion for this month :
King Theoden, in full armor, defending the walls of Helm’s Deep

The Fallen Balrog of Celebdil ‘There upon Celebdil was a lonely window in the snow, and before it lay a narrow space, a dizzy eyrie above the mists of the world……….. …… I threw down my enemy, and he fell from the high place and broke the mountain-side where he smote it in his ruin…..” LotR The Two Towers: Chapter V, The White Rider I (and possibly another) have previously suggested this version of the defeated Balrog laying upon the mountain-side, I would envisage a prone Balrog, probably more like the smaller sketch and designed in such a way as to keep part-count to a minimum. And to further (hopefully) reduce costs, not necessarily with a full base. This would be the size of the Entombed Balrog as I believe scale-wise this matches the description of the Balrog compared to an actual person/Gandalf. This 'action' was a pivotal point in Gandalf's history as it saw his transition from Grey to White. I was going to suggest a different figure, but this would have been too similar in terms of 'race' to misterbliss' suggestion this month, so I will pass that over for now

Sauron forging the One Ring Though this is the prelude of both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, I don't think a miniature like this was ever released. I imagine Sauron hammering the Ring hold by 'plier' in his left hand. I guess that Bakshi offered a good inspiration in the beginning of his memorable work: Sauron was still in the form as Annatar, but it would be a good challenge to give an evil majesty to his aspect (see the kind of spiky crown on his head, 'Morgoth-style') while hammering the Ring on an anvil. Gondor astrologer.
'' They stand guard because they have hope. A dim and fleeting hope that one day it will flourish, that a King will arrive and this city will return to what it was before its decline. The old western teachings fell into oblivion. Kings built tombs more splendid than houses for the living. And they treasured the ancient names of their ancestry more than those of their own children. Lords without heir lived in old mansions clouded by their heraldry or in tall cold towers devoted to astrology. That is why the people of Gondor knew ruin. The royal lineage failed. The White Tree dried up. The government of Gondor was handed over to lesser men ''
The return of the King.
I imagine the astrologer sitting and looking through a telescope with dwarf runes. He is a nobleman of Gondor, a distant relative of the royal house of Elendil, so he has an elven appearance, without a beard and long hair like Prince Imrahil. and a headband on the forehead. With the heraldry of the white tree on his mantle, behind him.

Spider of Mirwood attackingFor the moment, there is only one Mirkwood spider reference (out of stock).... Again and again, I retry to suggest the spider attacking to complete this reference. With both fangs visible, always essential to me! Feel like deja vu?

Chris has stated that the Fallen Balrog is too big and the Sauron figure is too similar to another release. We need one more idea to reach the required seven to vote on.

Considering that during the two summer months (July and August) many of us find ourselves away from keyboards, would it be conceivable to lower the minimum number of votes to 5 or 6 or to accept that a second proposal could possibly be proposed by the few present?

Beregond Captain of the White Company I'll resubmit Beregond, son of Baranor, who was the first Captain of the White Company, the guard of Faramir, Prince of Ithilien. Having been pardoned by King Ellessar for slaying Denethor's men, he is banished from Minas Tirith. Beregond would be attired in ornate armour and mail, with sword and cloak and a high helm. I see him in a pose that depicts him perhaps looking out over Ithilien, or even pointing back towards a distant Minas Tirith, an unseen Faramir at his side, maybe his son Bergil who may have been a Page to Faramir is also there. This is a single figure suggestion, the other two are illustrative of the scene as I see it.

Gondor astrologer. The image can serve as an idea. The pose can be this, sitting looking through the telescope. But I do emphasize that the clothing must display the Gondorian heraldry. the telescope support base must have dwarf runes to prove it is a dwarf artifact. the appearance of the nobleman must be elven, without a beard, long hair, a diadem on his forehead. All this reflects that Gondor was the cultural nexus of the races of Middle Earth. You can also put some astronomical objects at your feet.
