Thanks to all members who have taken the time to partake in the Fellowship threads this month. There are three contenders for the final prize. 'Haradrim Archer Armoured' did win the first round but it is in no way assured of a final victory. There are plenty of undecided voters so if you favour any idea, add a comment on why and try to convince others to support it, even if you did not originally submit it. This vote will be open so you will always see the current status of it.

Quite a varied mixture, but I find the astrologer a rather appealing concept. Didn't notice who suggested him, but well done, whoever it was.

The image of the astrologer has caught my interest I have to admit

This could be another nail-biting finish, will the astrologer see his future, or will the archer shoot him down?

The Gondorian astrologer I imagine him with this appearance, it shows that he is a man but reflects an elven influence. For the telescope it can also serve as inspiration. It must be a contraption that demonstrates the robustness and ingenuity of dwarf artifacts. For me it is essential that it reflects that in Gondor's most powerful time, this was the cultural nexus of the free peoples of Middle Earth. But the pose of the set must be inspired by this position, the astrologer must be looking through the telescope or willing to do so.

Are you sure that you wanted an astrologer, not an astronomer?

Are you sure that you wanted an astrologer, not an astronomer? Tolkien speaks of astrologers. In the ancient world they did not differ. They both study the stars and observe them.

Are you sure that you wanted an astrologer, not an astronomer? Tolkien speaks of astrologers. In the ancient world they did not differ. They both study the stars and observe them. In the past astrology and astronomy were mixed and blended. Modern astologers are just chancers with next to no knowledge of science but it was not always so. The division between the disciplines or practices slowly occurred over the centuries.
