Thanks for all the current selection of ideas. Most got through and there was one exception and that was Beorn's animals. We will have two rounds of voting as usual and also the first round is a blind vote so you will only see the current status of the poll after you post your vote.
Please remember you are encouraged to comment on your idea, or on the ideas of others. Sometimes a good point can sway those undecided and make a runner up become a winner.

to complete or as an addition to the new box set MB689 Lord of the Rings 'The Fellowship of the Ring' 32mm Scale Metal Miniatures
I suggest
Bill the Pony with baggage in walking pose
Bill the pony, originally from Bree, was choosen as the pack animal for the baggage of the Fellowship of the Ring. He also started the journey with the Fellowship from Rivendell to the West Gate of Moria, where Bill was set loose, because the mines were no place for an animal.
Bill escaped the Watcher in the Water and pack of wolves and made his way back to Bree, where the Innkeeper of the Prancing Pony - Mr. Butterbur - took care over the Pony until Sam, who was very found of Bill, returned from the quest with Mr. Frodo and the other two Hobbits.

Draught Beast Driver As the Draught Beast figure is near release, my thought for this month’s suggestion is for a companion piece in the way of a ‘Driver’ for the Draught Beast. Although not mentioned, I would think it would be natural for the Beasts drawing Grond to have a driver or two to keep them in order and to stop them from drifting away from their objective, the Gate of Gondor. The Driver – well at the point of suggesting I don’t know how big the Draught Beast figure is so I am suggesting that the Driver is either a man, albeit a tall man, heavily built and strong, as you would expect for someone who needs to be in charge of these beasts, or some form of half-Troll (hopefully the second image explains my thought-process ). This would be the sculptor's choice as to what option looks best. I see the Driver (man or half-troll) with a leather type cap that covers the top half of the face. He is not armoured but wears a reinforced leather jerkin, and for extra protection he wears a fur cloak of bear or wolf pelt, or maybe another draught beast’s mane. In his hand he holds a prodding spike for keeping the beasts in order while his other hand is dipping into a sack-bag that contains food-stuff that the Draught beasts like (like dog-treats ) and which keeps them following the Driver.

Thorin alert with bow ready."In this way they were soon all safe on the opposite shore, on the edge of the enchanted stream. Dwalin had just hurried out, the rope wrapped around his his arm, and Bombur (still grumbling) was about to follow him when something ahead came a noise like hooves. Suddenly, from the twilight, a flying deer came out. He charged at the dwarves and brought them down, and He immediately ducked down to jump. He passed over the water with a large leap, but did not reach the shore unscathed Thorin had been the only one still he stayed alert and as soon as they reached land he had prepared the bow and had put an arrow, in case the guardian of the ship suddenly appeared. He quickly shot the beast, which collapsed upon reaching the other shore. the The shadows devoured her, but finally they heard a muffled sound of hooves. extinct. " The Hobbit. Chapter 8 Flies and Spiders. Mithril does not have any models of a dwarf archer, not even in MW347 Iron-Hill Dwarves Warband. That is why I propose Thorin, in traveler's clothing, alert and with his bow at the ready, as Tolkien describes him. The pose in the photo I think is perfect.

Beorn's animals
This month, I propose again a rather unusual miniature: Beorn's animals but which could also be associated with Radagast or even Tom Bombadil. This is a deer with a squirrel on his back, a little bird on his head and a rabbit at his feet.
Nothing heroic or historical (no reference to a character named in a book) but a subject that seems to me perfectly in the spirit of Tolkien.

Messenger from Mordor A Black Numenorian Emissary standing haughtily before King Dain asking the dwarves for information concerning Hobbits and one ring in particular. I envision him with a long black cloak and armored. He could possibly be a Ringwraith but cannot be certain with his ancient Karma styled helmet covering his face. He could also be stand-in for the Mouth of Sauron on foot.

Wose Drummers.
Since Woses are about the same size as Hobbits, I'm hoping Chris will accept two as a "single" figure. If not, then Chris can pick which of the two I suggest for the vote.
We don't have many Wose figures (Ghan-buri Ghan, Spearman, Priestest, and Warrior), and no Drummers, which were specifically mentioned in the Return of the King with Merry speaking to Elfhelm in the woods on the way to Minas Tirith:
"Is the enemy coming then?" asked Merry anxiously. "Are those their drums? I began to think I was imagining them, as no one else seemed to take any notice of them."
"Nay, nay," said Elfhelm, "the enemy is on the road not in the hills. You hear the Woses, the Wild Men of the Woods: thus they talk together from afar."
And later, Merry is eavesdropping on a conversation between Ghan-buri-Ghan, King Theoden, and his advisors--Ghan-buri-Ghan is speaking: "No, father of Horse-men," he said, "we fight not. Hunt only. Kill gorgun in woods, hate orc-folk. You hate gorgun too. We help as we can . . ."
If it wasn't for the Wose Drummers, Rohan would not have reached Gondor in time to aid them, if at all.
The two Drummers I envision are #1: standing behind a large drum that sits on the ground, waist high. I imagine the drum shaped like a whiskey barrel or wine cask. The Drummer would have legs spread to the sides of the drum with arms in a motion of beating, perhaps one on the drum surface (animal hide laced with sinew) and one arm held high, ready for the down stroke. #2: A Wose seated cross-legged on the ground with a drum resting on the legs, not so small as to be between the crossed legs. I imagine this drum to be circular and about twice as wide as it is high. Again, there would be an animal hide cover and the drum would be beaten by hand. I hope for continuity in appearance with the earlier Wose figures. I also think it would be great if one drummer was a male and one a female.

Thorin handling a football ball
So far, no sport reference (except Golf), but it seems Dwarves play football/soccer
"This won't do at all!" said Thorin. "If we don't get blown off or drowned, or struck by lightning, we shall be picked up by some giant and kicked sky-high for a football."
and
"There was a muffled yelp inside, and a toe shot up and kicked the spider straight and hard. There was life in Bombur still. There was a noise like the kicking of a flabby football, and the enraged spider fell off the branch, only catching itself with its own thread just in time."

Thorin with football - funny suggestion - it just sounds very much like Bloodbowl... hehe Its true, Tolkiens dwarves are mentioned to be toy makers, and a leather ball can be a toy.

I am disappointed... I don't think a bird, a squirrel and a rabbit constitutes more detail than all the harness worn by a pony, but it's probably too unusual. Is it worth my reproposal? This proposal is indeed too simple to be a two-character proposal or a mounted character. So, if it's too complex for a single character but too simple for a mounted character, it's a proposal that has no hope of passing.
