This is the May 2nd round voting from the 25th until the 31st of May. Do not forget to vote today.
I chose the 4 finalists as they were the most popular in the 1st round.
Surprisingly the Ent suggestion fell way behind this month, with only 5 votes so I left it out.
I will start accepting the June suggestions for a single figure on the 31st of May.

Lets go for the second "fellowship" funeral. If Boromir makes it to the end, the next month should be a "happy" month, with only weddings, parties and happy endings suggestions.

The Funeral Boat of Boromir is an image that sticks in your mind from the books, the movie, and if you were lucky enough to see it in The Lord of the Rings Exhibition when it made its way around the world to major selected cities. This one gets my vote hands down for its power and image.

I agree with the Boromir vote. He is one of my favorite characters, so noble and human! The funeral boat scene in the book and movie was very powerful and moving.

Don't forget that funeral boat would be very expensive miniature. Vote for Bolg!

I voted for the Lossoth Hunter. Something completely different from the rest of the models.
I already have a few boats from Mithril, and a lot of fighting Orcs/Goblins/Uruks!

Hi! Oh yes, please, vote Beorn vs. Bolg this time! Not only because I started an attempt on my own several months ago . . . I named it "Beorn´s crushing Bolg". And I described it different: look at pictures by David Wenzel: pblancho.free.fr/uk4/(I changed the link to go to the actual pictures as a URL, but NOT display them as images as they are large and would distort the forum. Please keep the size of pictures you want to display within about 450 pixals wide please. Note that I.E. resizes large images for viewing BUT that does not change the actual size of the picture, it is just an illusion of a smaller image. - Michael, Webmaster) Bombadil

I've voted for the boat of Boromir - if it is chosen could it be used as the basis for the Fellowship either departing Lorien or travelling down Anduin, should Chris/Mithril ever decide that the Boats of Lorien would make for a general release, box set or otherwise. At least the master would already have been made, and as I have said before I am more than happy to see a Fellowship suggestion to be used for the wider audience.
Good luck and successful voting.

We voted naturally for Bolg. The coffin of Thorin Oakenshield is now ready for everyone to see. We think its time for some action.
And cudos for Bombadil1963, we realised you have suggested this before we joined the club, but I think our version is quite different. And better:)

I too have opted for Bolg and Beorn. We've already had one dead Boromir and one funeral scene, and it would be interesting to see an 'updated' Beorn-in-bear-shape from Chris...

Huoomm... so the Ent didn't make it to the final voting Homrhuooom ... I'd better think of an Ent-suggestion myself - maybe that works better ... huom ...I don't know. Well, I'm not sad about it ... there is time, a lot of time,I think Honestly, I really don't care much about these votings for the MS-releases (though I take part in it, of course). But I really have to say, that each one of them so far was brilliant, and I'm not exaggerating

I voted for Bolg vs Beorn because I really like the battle scenes (the only former one in the gold fellowship was Sauron vs Gil-Galad & Elendil... These scenes are great additions fpr both collection and wargaming, and are a challenge for painters. As for Boromir, well, actually I fear this would be too big and also, since there is already the death of Boromir this year... Making Boromir two times in a single year, I think it would be unfair for all the other ideas... though the idea is cool but maybe later...according to me...
I hope Bolg wins I would be curious to know how he would look like compared to Azog vs Dain (M164)

I just had to vote for Bolg to make the voting a bit more interesting.... All 4 ideas are brilliant and I hope all of them are getting produced and it really does not matter which one is the first to start of with...

Boromir in a boat, floatin' down the Anduin Bolg and Beorn, at the Lonely Mountain brawlin', A woman and child, Helm's Deep a-defendin' A Lossoth hunter, in the far north a-shiverin' Another great set of choices - and any of them well worth a pick. I like the idea of a single-figure lossoth, so am waiting for a single-figure month for that one, and the other three all have merit. I think two funerals in a row might get everyone feeling a bit glum, though, so this month I think I'll go with Beorn and Bolg - but here's to all four getting up down the track

Looks like I'd best get my Battle of the Five Armies diorama finished and leave enough room for Beorn & Bolg! Or will the boat come through at the eleventh hour?

Ori, you have just switched the light on!
I have yet to paint any of the eagles I have, now they may just appear in my diorama (even if they were not in the scene in the book) to add a bit of movement and action. ;D

My vote has gone to Beorn, love to see him fighting!
Good chance – Hope he win's – But none call tell what the morning and new day brings, as Aragorn tells the Uruk Hai at Helm's Deep!
Tibbo76: There is a vintage miniature with a sled from ral partha existing , pulled by 3 polar-bears. But sure the time will come for the Lossoth!
I'm curious about the next months suggestions, sure the lossoth hunter and the Ent will be there again.
