2nd round voting has begun on the 23rd. I personally think this is one of the most challenging months for choosing a winner, with superb suggestions that were finalists previous months and excellent newcomers. WELL DONE MEMBERS. Whatever the outcome, I think you will agree, it is an exciting time to be part of this club.
I think all our fans will be satisfied at the list of 16 options to vote for. Remember one vote per member for this round of voting. You can add your personal comment why you voted for that option as well. Vote ends June 22nd. Vote for your favourite. On the 23rd I will start a second vote on the 4 or 5 most popular suggestions. This will allow you to vote again to decide on the final winner. That vote ends Friday 30th. Remember you can always resubmit an idea another month to try again.

Destined to be a true classic!

I know it sounds daft as I submitted Denethor with the Palantir, but I think Arathorn with the infant Aragorn is in the words of mshartman "Destined to be a true classic", providing of course that it gets the votes, and on that basis it gets my vote.
It is on a par with Halbarad (imho) should it be produced.

How ever its a pleasure to choose among wonderful suggestions. This time I have to make a decision of 3 favorites of mine: Theodred, King Bard and Glofindel! Because I think Theodred and King Bard are worth of a vignette suggestion I vote for Glorfindel in armour.

I voted for Denethor, but I really like the Arathorn figure too.

I voted for Aragorn as a companion to The King of the Dead Fellowship piece because I do not think something like this has ever been done before here taking an existing Fellowship figure - The King and mating him up with a new figure to create an official vignette and not one built from scratch. The new sculpt of Aragorn would be demanding The King of the Dead's allegiance. It would make for one cool vignette!

This is strange! Here seems to be very strong charm of novelty. Lossoth Hunter and Trumpeting Ent nearly won just a little time ago. And now they are getting nearly no support at all...

Heh - I'm quite sure they'll both be back - but as you say, there's such a rich range of subjects to choose from that preferences can vary more than just a little every month! Just wait until the month that Eorl comes charging down (metaphorically) from the upper vales of the Anduin, after grazing quietly there for so long....

Well, here is a perfect example of why I fought hard for the Lossoth Hunter the last two months. Great new ideas come along, and the affections of the members shift easily from month to month. There are no guarantees that a popular idea one month will carry over to the next, as has been the case many times now. I think perhaps we sometimes tire of the old idea that almost made it, and look for something new--this is human nature.
So, unless the Lossoth Hunter makes a great comeback, and is promoted by others here in the posts as well, we'll have to hope he makes a return like that of Gothmog this month (without the warg) in a later month.
Go Lossoth Hunter!

I agree with Twrich's sentiments - my own suggestion (Boromir's funeral boat) got little support one month, a lot the next - I will probably suggest it again but not this month!

hello fellow collectors!
Hmm, very difficult this time – and very strange indeed. Just some personal thoughts: (No bad meaning: All suggestion's time will come... )
The iron crowned witch-King (mounted on what? Horse? Think, there are already two of him: M3 Do we really want this club for doing remakes? and MS299 together with Gandalf at the gate of Minas Tirith.
Mounted on Fell beast? – really cool thought, but whould be a better boxed set, whouldn't it?
Gothmog? There is that really ugly GW orc version mounted on warg and on foot - are we influenced so much of the movie for the mithril figures?
The first round voting I am torn between Arathorn with son Aragorn (Whould indeed be splendid) and Denethor with Palantir.
But I have voted for Denethor this time: Think, we have only that sitting figure of him and I have suggested Denethor on the pyre a short time ago. Didn't got much support either. So I do support him now. A Palantir with Sauron inside whould be really hard to visualize – the burning eye on it's surface? And the mad expression on Denethor's face? - creepy! And think there is Saruman already with the Palantir of Orthanc (MC17), the very one displayed on Aragorns Hand after Saruman's downfall (MS423) The other seeing stones still existing are the one in Minas Tirith and the one of Minas Ithil, which passed into Saurons Hand. The other 4 are lost. The Palántiri are as legendary items as the Arkenstone, it's time to bring them into contact... And Denethor is a very interesting character in the novel and – Pity, he is shown so much dislikable in the movies. has to be so perhaps, but running on fire though the whole citadel is ridiculous...
If he doesn't makes it into second voting, My heart is with Arathorn and son.
So long, vote wisely!
It seem's the Lossoth hunter is desined to come in a regular release, I persoanally whould prefer that – think of the more

Again, so many good suggestions! I'm voting for mine, as now that there's a two-round structure, I don't want my poor 'ole victim of internal strife to be forgotten . But Arathorn and Denethor are brilliant suggestions, and I've got plenty of time for Gothmog as well. The Witch-King is less original, but still solid, and it's likely that many newer collectors have not had a chance to get their hands on M3. The elven sailor is my favourite of the 'not-so-likely-to-make-it-up' suggestions, but as always, they're all good - power to everyone for their suggestions and good voting .

We already have Aragorn with the palantir, that is enough for me for now.
Eventhough I think a Lossoth is missing in the collection I think Arathorn is the most original an apealing idea and since it has a lot of support it stands a better chance of being realized now than later. am sure the Lossoth hunter will get another chance later (right, twrich?)

Weird. I don't have the option of voting anymore. I don't recall voting, but one thing may have driven out another, I suppose. Oh well.

Hey, I don't have the option to vote either! I KNOW I haven't voted yet, and since today's the 21st and not the 22nd I should still be able to... So what's gone wrong? Michael, where are you?

I have fixed the poll so you can vote now. It had been locked, although I do not remember doing that, unless it was by mistake. I will continue the vote until tomorrow 23rd. I will stop it first thing in the morning.

As there is no chance for the Ent this time I decided for the hunter. But ... as usual there also were so many other great ideas. So once again I can say that I would be pleased with any of the suggestions

Like you, Theobald, i can't see any hope for the poor old Ent - what an inconsistent lot the Fellowship members seem to be! He nearly won only a couple of months ago, and yet this time he hasn't received a single vote. Consequently I can see no point wasting my own vote on his lost cause either, even though I suggested him... Sad, or what?
I've therefore decided to support Gothmog, as 'best of the rest' (by which I mean 'best of the rest that stand any hope of getting to round two...').
