Thank you for the latest suggestions. Eorl looks very popular this month, but there are still some very interesting contenders running alongside him. Gilraen fleeing with the child Aragorn would make an interesting little vignette scene as would the exotic looking Far-Harad chieftain ( a great contrast to the Lossoth hunter!). The passing of Gandalf appeals to me very much but I think that the piece really needs the balrog to make it complete. As this is a single figure month, I did not include either of the larger version, but it could always be re-submitted next time. by Chris Tubb.
I think all our fans will be satisfied at the list of 11 options to vote for. Remember one vote per member for this round of voting. You can add your personal comment why you voted for that option as well. Vote ends July 26th. Vote for your favourite. On the 26th I will start a second vote on the 4 or 5 most popular suggestions. This will allow you to vote again to decide on the final winner. Remember you can always resubmit an idea another month to try again.

I chose my own suggestion (the Elf maiden of the north), however if its eliminated, I will happily vote for Eorl.

I pledged my sword (oops, vote) to the Horseman from the North, and therefore Eorl is my choice for this month unless he gets thwarted at the first round!

I voted for Aragorn summoning The King of the Dead as we already have The King and put together they would make an awesome vignette.

I voted for the Elf Maiden. I think a single female figure is needed.

I voted for Gilraen and the child Aragorn fleeing to Imladris - I love the way Chris makes the little scenes come alive - one of my favorites being Gandalf with the Hobbit children.

Heh - well, It'd be wrong if I didn't put my money (well, vote!) where my mouth was - go Eorl - go that good thing! But if Eorl wasn't there, then there'd be plenty of other great ideas to choose from - I hope they resurface in the not-too-distant future .

OK, I suggested Gandalf's passing but will bow to Chris' input and not vote for my own suggestion - it is time for Eorl! However, since Chris seemed "intrigued" with Gandalf AND the Balrog, look for that suggestion next vignette!

It's time for Eorl – all support to him!
But almost all other suggestions are great and should be kept in mind for future months...

Wow, I´m so proud . . .
Not only that Chris is feeling moved to mention one of my suggestions with some warm words again! Never before one of my ideas received so much votes! Thanx to all who voted for Gilraen and infant Aragorn!
Although I think that Eorl the Young will make it this time. Doesn´t matter. I love the forefathers of the Rohirrim, too. And there will be another month.

It's Felarof I'm more worried about - let's hope he's got the stamina to win against such stiff competition after having galloped virtually non-stop for the best part of a year.
Oddly, round two is going to be a three-horse race with only one horse actually in it, and everything is obviously going to depend on how the floating votes get used.

I voted for my own suggestion (not very sportive ), but I would like to see another Gondorian royal, as Beruthiel is a little bit lonesome in my vitrine. !!SO VOTE FOR THE KING VOTE FOR GONDOR!! and do not tell me, that: "Gondor has no King, Gondor needs no King!" KRGDS Estel
