All good suggestions, but I very much like the idea of Sam with his cooking fire, and who knows, perhaps a bonus Frodo will be included if Chris has some spare modelling putty lying around. Herbs and Stewed rabbit, mmmnnnn!

All good suggestions, but I very much like the idea of Sam with his cooking fire, and who knows, perhaps a bonus Frodo will be included if Chris has some spare modelling putty lying around. Herbs and Stewed rabbit, mmmnnnn! I do not mind rabbit. ;D "Stew the rabbits!' squealed Gollum in dismay. 'Spoil beautiful meat Sméagol saved for you, poor hungry Sméagol! What for? What for, silly hobbit? They are young, they are tender, they are nice. Eat them, eat them! He clawed the nearest rabbit, already skinned and lying by the fire." But I like the idea of Sam but also the Orcish suggestion, all great ideas. :oBut I like most the suggestion of a mannish Morgul captain, as I always asked, how Chris' vision of that guys would be. And the black host is mentioned only once in the books of Mr. T.

On the principle that we already have figures of Sam, and we've already had an Orc blowing a horn (in the old 'warband' set, still available from Time Machine), I've voted for the Black Numenorean dude. Lilke Master Estel, I shall be very interested to see how The Man interprets him!

Black Numenorean Capt. of Minas Morgul, that's what we don't have so far!

Well I like the Black Numenorian Officer suggestion, but voted for Sam and the camp-fire because it is such a memorable scene. I would be happy with either.

Difficult to choose from these three. A villainous human, like the Black Numenorean, would be a welcome sight, especially when supported my orcs (no doubt plotting his demise when the time is right). On the other hand, hobbits are so adorable, and Mithril certainly knows how to capture their child-like innocence. Besides, Sam could use a new head. And what about the orc? Although Mithril released a horn blower some time ago, I could see another added to the ranks. Maybe an Uruk this time? Well, the orc is the underdog, so I will give him my support once more. Boom! Boom! Boom!

I´m very interested to see a Black Numenorean . Special characters created for the fellowship range, hopefully added by a complete range - this is imo also an ongoing challenge of the mithril fellowship: to point out prototypes for new ranges or to extend existing ranges with outstanding characters, although they are nameless. To this intension the Black Numenorean Captain is a good example - my favorite miniature for this month.

Although there are many heroic deeds done by other characters ,it seems to me if it werent for Sam's constant vigilance all would have been in vain. All are spectacular choices and I am glad it is neck and neck to the finish line. It makes for an exciting race . And, I can't wait to celebrate with the winner. Speaking of nameless characters , has any one seen the female ranger [M16]on ebay , the current bid with three days still to go is $305.00 USD . not even in the package. Looks like I'll never aquire that piece .

Just to be correct about orcs blowing a horn: There's not only the one in the Mw337 army (hornist), there also is the M51 riding on a warg. Very nice design of both of the horns, by the way. As for the current voting I only can tell that I really like those three suggestions.

So we'll have to see how Chris and Michael will decide. It's the first draw. I hope they'll let us know if they'll be tossing dices or coins ... anyway, I really do like both ideas to be sculpted.

Well I have voted for Sam too we'll see it's been some time since we got some hobbits and with some odd situation in this case. (besides, Gothmog could play the part of a black numenorean captain already if need be )
