Well, Narvi has passed a very, very long way until today. Thanks for all the support, so far! Some day he will be victorious! Perhaps this month, maybe some day in future . . .
Never give up!

Difficult choice. Hmmm, I think I’m leaning toward the statue. It is a versatile piece. For instance, in a diorama you could place it near Denethor at the end of a great hall. Another possibility is to weather the statue down and set it in the midst of a temple ruin. Also, you could paint it to look like one of the actual kings of Gondor. Naturally, at 40-50mm in height, he might be considered somewhat of a Giant! The possibilities are really huge!

not a difficult choice:
it must be Narvi this time, yes the month of the dwarves, maybe the year of the dwarves, Durin's year?

I'd like to see Dunhere Lord of Harrowdale, but mounted! Thats why Narvi of Moria is the first choise this time>

Though I'd prefer a mounted Dunhere, any Dunhere is better than none!

Yes I thought about Dunhere mounted before I suggested him . . . And I think that others suggested him mounted before I took up his cause the past couple months. I would be perfectly happy with either Narvi or Dunhere . . . but who knows when the next mounted month will come.

"Ennyn Durin Aran Moria: pedo mellon a minno. Im Narvi hain echant: Celebrimbor o Eregion teithant i thiw hin."
Yes, it's definitely the month of dwarves... remember the one who eternized himself by creating the west gate Think he will have a face (with beard and all... ) soon
Dunhere is from Rohan and needs a Horse... The statue is a good idea, but better fits as a Vignette, with plinth or pillar(s) (my opinion)
Cheers and happy voting

Hi, yes, Harald, bearded he should be! I imagine him wearing an apron or a smock. Only a small hood that gives us a glimpse on his 4 or 5 braids of long blond or red hair. Trousers of deerskin and a broad girdle with an archaic buckle of mithril. He is wearing heavy dwarven boots of rough leather. He has only a chisel and a hammer in his right hand that is held across his broad and strong midbody, touching his left elbow. No weapons, no armor. His naked muscular arms and breast should be worked out defined cause there´s no more jewellery, armor or else (necessary) to decorate this exceptional guy!
He is a craftsman of old. Which simply means he has some kinds of relation to wizards or even gods in people´s imagination and belief.
His left hand is scratching or squeezing his beardy chin or pulling or scratching his beard. So, he is looking quite contemplative. If it had been a vignette-month, I would have placed him a heavy stone block in front of his feet on which he is carving. But now there have to be made compromises . . .

Don’t we have approximately 354 members? Why then are there only 40-50 members voting each month? What’s up with the lack of participation? Is it concern that making suggestions or comments might invite ridicule (in an annoyingly polite way of course) from the other, more established members? Or is it just the cliquey nature of the forum itself? I don’t know, but a 14% turnout is S A D any way you look at it. Therefore, I would like to officially welcome and encourage any member, who might be reading this, and who has not felt inclined to share their opinion in the past, to join in and have some real fun! The more the merrier! ATTENTION ALL NEWCOMERS AND SILENT OLD-TIMERS! PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH THIS FORUM! Even if it’s negative, just remember to be polite. Cursing in the Black Speech is allowed I think.

Yes, Master Grond, you said it. I have never understood why it seems so unattractive to vote for a suggestion. Therefor it is so easy. What is the reason becoming a GF-member if you don´t take place here? Buying GF-miniatures, meseems, but NOT voting for them in order to start their production is a bit contraproductive. Every NON-VOTER should make his mind up!

YESSS! Thank you rita.de and agodet! Two is a nice beginning! More need to come forward now. Remember, it doesn’t matter which suggestion you vote for (although I think you just made ddaines blink). The main thing is to participate and be heard! You guys are wonderful! Thanks again!

Hi rita.de,
Thanks! Revier-Power for the fellowship! To all the others: the Ruhr Area is European Capital of Culture in 2010! And "Ruhr-Revier" or "Kohlenpott" (Coal-pot) or only "Der Pott" (The Pot)are nicknames of this area in Germany for it was famous for it´s coal mining and steel milling before and it is Germany´s "melting-pot of nations" number one.

Hello, It is a long time too that I posted a message in the forum (like Arnaud)... and... I voted me too for the Statue! I have a question: Why the last miniature of Radagast does not have a beard like the other Istari (Gandalf or Saruman)? Good bye, Hervé.

I have the the same question like basile.
Also Radagast seems a little bit to young, Istaris were old men.

Salut Arnaud, ca va bien?

Looks like we didn’t even get 40 people to vote this time around. Still, some members that haven’t been heard from in a while stepped up to the plate. Encouraging. Thank you basile. Also, thanks to all the other members who vote on a regular bases. WHOA! The battle between Lord of Harrowdale and Dwarven stonewright couldn't be any closer. While not over yet, it's times like this when a silent member's vote counts the most! Good luck to both entries! Note: Interesting observation regarding Radagast and his beard. And he does look rather youthful. Perhaps with all those overly friendly birds and rodents hanging around, it would not be wise to wear a beard.

"For the sake of consistency the new Radagast figure is based on our original version of this character (M84). This in turn is based on the illustration on page 27 of Iron Crown's "Southern Mirkwood" role-playing module. We used to work closely with ICE when Mithril began and the Radagast image is a legacy of this. He is, to the best of my knowledge, never described as having a beard, only as being "old but vigorous". As for carrying a weapon - Gandalf has a sword but I thought that a bow would be more appropriate for Radagast, who lives in the Greenwood and is presumably a past-master and tracking etc" Direct Statement from Chris Tubb on Radagast Mounted release.
