That's a great offer, Gildor I don't know what to say to express my relief ........... huoomm. But this I will promise: In case you (with a little help from your friends) manage to host a new MMP - including the 'Prancing Pony', of course - I will give you number 2 of the new MX for free come on, let's go for it! I also can promise to contribute photos of all (sic !) regular Mithril releases plus those of some extras (uniques). [Except the Eowyn Christmas figure] They're all here awaiting to fill the reference databases huooommmmmrhuoooommmmmmmmmm Gildor, I'll contact you soon about this matter ......

well your offer is very generous Theobald, but that is not at all necessary (I have my appartement filled with mithril in every corner already lol really that's fine (On a second thought, there is a new MX scheduled? after Frumgar?? if so, I may be interested indeed) What I will DO need though, is an help of course, for the database filling. and with your help it could become far more detailed than it had ever been. I have begun my researches... I will create a brand new forum, either incorporated inside the "mithril faerylands" (if I can manage to code its fusion into it) or directly linked to it in another page. The type of forum will be a PunBB, the style used will try to match the colors of my site (green and gold... which reminds somehow the green blister cards of the late mithril releases, which have switched back to red/with ME map background LOL) you can have a sample of the style and skin here www.punbb.fr/styles/previsualisation/index.php?id=14 (indeed it will be english language in the end.. or french if there are some frenchies besides myself among us, I can even add german if some want! as interface language) that will be a true functionnal forum, unlike what MMP was, which means, more functionnalities, easier to manage and administrate and to find what you are looking for. I will handle overall administration but create accounts as moderators to those of you who are and have always been responsibles of sections in the late MMP. The first thing I will open is the Prancing Poney... there will be no more need to re-create topics in this kind of forum that is managed in archiving quite easily. As for the pics, I need "fan painted" photos to boost the galleries, as for Unique figurines Theo, except yourself and kenakko ones (if I manage to be in contact with him again ...) I may provide all others. I only miss 1989 and 1991 christmas figurines.... I even managed to find myself a 1988 Aragorn (old collector... treasure hunting... "a la Tomb Raider" , somehow) , and I have the Eowyn 1990 too, I can take pics of my own I will work on that very seriously this week end and in the upcoming week. Hopefully, the Prancing Poney (among others...) should be able to open its doors by the beginning of February. Anyway, I take it that my database engine and "figurine sheets" did please you all if you contacted me for this matter?...

ok now so far, I have installed on a test server the forum, added its useful plugins, and its definitive styles and parsed all administration possibilities... only lacking integration within my own site, and I am done already!

Sounds great ... indeed I did not visit your page only today ... I like those inserted windows about the figures to pop up once you 'click' them ... all in all the disign is very good as also are the categories and the way of browsing your page ... but I think I told you that about a year ago Thank you very much for opening the "Pony" first ... as there are so many people queuing up outside and awaiting doors to be opened Well, I know that your collection is complete, Gildor. You might email me privately of which help I could be for the database filling. We don't have to waste the space on this site here, because those might be matters other people are not interested in ..... Alas, well, yes .... your second thought was right. But I don't want to talk about it here ... I rather prefer a more familiar place like the "Prancing Pony" once has been. There we might consider facts and rumours ..... huooomm.

ok the forum is almost ready I managed to somehow have a "shared menu" which works back and forth from "Mithril Faerylands" website to the new "Many Mithril Pages @ Faerylands" website. I only need my host provider to create the subdomain , I sent the request this afternoon, this should be proceeded monday or tuesday. I named the website "Many Mithril Pages @ Faerylands"... in honor to the former MMP, and not wanting to steal it... I will post a topic about the wereabouts of what happened... It is not working yet but the new mmp will be at mmp.faerylands.netsoon, my friends... soon...

Don't worry barli, that won't be a big shock it may even make you laugh Zoetrop, your gallery is MOST THAN WELCOME i will contact you in private for my address. Also, for the price list, that is a matter I will consider coding once the forum is up again... In agreement with Marc I had decided NOT to put any price indication on my database, in order to let MMP have the predominance and reference in the matter of "mithril dealing"... I will have to change this aspect... Alas, the "engine for contributors collections and trading facilities" won't be here , as they were in MMP I may try to do something later about that, but that requires a coding from scratch and will take quite some time I fear.... I have managed to find the "About Mithril section" text from MMP using the Google Cache system. Some pages are still in Google Cache but these are only text.... If any of you has kept the pictures for the UNIQUE sections, that's the worst lost of all... especially the Unique 54mm Saruman from an unknown contributor, and the ME2 in blister from kennako...

I'll ask Ken about the ME2 picture - we communicate a couple of times a week.

Huoommmmmm ... so everything seems to develop speedily ... rhuoommm ... I could take new pictures of all those "uniques",Gildor. Ahem, I mean "all"... adding one or two pics of so-called conversions, as there is the Lady bearing a standard for example. Huoommm ... Thank you, Master Gildor ... and of course another Karma-thing for that .....

Huommm ... sorry I nearly forgot .... What about those rotten wargskins, Master Barliman? I still keep them alive, so to say. At the moment they're rapped around a new rumour ...

Woow, the new pony is growing like the grass in my backyard. You don't watch it for a couple of days and you need a slasher to get rid of it. Very impressive! I haven't been in France for a quite a while. Nice to meet you all there. Hello Master tree, if you think of the the one lady I think of, then I can supply the pics from the first conversion (falconer) aswell. I also send one to Nicolai (estel) and he has painted the lady with the standard. I'm sure he can post the pics to Gildor aswell. I know Axel wants to do her on horseback. From the most wanted... to the most often converted one! Regarding the warg skins, I think we should bring them into the new pony, just to have some of the "good old smell" and unrapp the rumor!

Huoommm ... that's exactly what I hoped for ... thank you, Master Hsf62 ... yes, I was thinking of that Lady with the standard - not mentioning some half-orcs. Rhuoommmm ... oh, I can imagine Axel's ideas and learnt about them ... huooommm ... but the Falconer is something different ... I once saw a picture of a painted version .... great! Huoommmmm ... alas I just realized that she is not in my collection ..... rhuooommm ... of course we can trade ... huomm ... but not at this place As for the wargskins there's a problem I recently identified ... there's a spell on them ... huoommm ... the rumour (or fact) within them can only be reveiled at a certain place ... could be a pony or anything else prancing ... huoommm ... I will find out about that in time .... huoomm

Is the smell the spell, or just the fact that these nasty skins stick to your roots?

I'm sure my old wargskin rugs don't smell of anything worse than spilled scrumpy.... ah, yes, hmmm, perhaps I see what you mean. Not that my scrumpy's bad, mind - it's very good at clearing up bronchitis if you breathe the fumes often enough - but perhaps the, ah, aroma is an acquired taste. But I agree with Master Holger, It would be a shame if the rugs weren't brought along to the new Pony. At the very least they're good at keeping the rat population under control when Nob's not hungry.

I got my hosting provider on phone, the subdomain MMP should be ready by tomorrow. I will then upload the content and by chance the forum will be active and alive by wednesday, or at worst thursday.
I am currently coding a new "price" field for my "reference sheets" , I won't include this field though in the advance search file... that would not be "politically correct". The rarity and availability criteria should be enough.
