Hello Michael, please tell us the range from the new fantasy molds from Prince August. 28 mm or 30-32 mm ? Are they making from Chris Tubb too? Many thanks in advance!

LOTS of ;D ;D ;D 32mm Chris Tubb designed elven moulds. NOT LOTR licensed figures - these are general types of elves but WOW are they nice. Released very soon. I am waiting the painted versions to see how they turn out.

Excellent!
New moulds! Will we see new Wraiths too (I rebought a wraith mould set over the summer, and was saddened to discover that the cool minis I remember from my youth are rather, uh, small!).
I would like to see new human warriors too. Maybe something more Braveheart-ish, or like the Germanic warriors from Gladiator than the late middle ages type "men at arms" we have now.
I could see a rather cool situation where Mithril/PA could come to dominate the fantasy miniatures market again with distinctive 32mm figures...

Will Prince August sell single already casted miniatures or only the moulds I like 625 High-Elf Guard a lot but I don't need 500 of them

E-mail me or dispatch@princeaugust.ie and ask for the Code Number of the mould BUT also add you want the cast figure (s) ONLY. Then we can give you a price and work from there.
Make sure you stress that you only want a cast figure NOT the mould. We always try to accommodate our customers and will cast it for you. The mould allows you the option of casting as many as you like which if it is a lot works out very cheap.
Add your postal address and how you want to pay.
You could use the Prince August Secure order page if you want to do this. A link is on the homepage just above the sitemap.

If I wanted to buy cast figures would you spin cast them or use the regular molds?

Interesting. I was going to buy the molds the second I saw the announcement, but they would be absolutely no good to me for a few weeks, so I held fire.
Hmmm, any chance of a "characters" range to go along with the 32mm mould series?
One wonders if there are any rejected Mithril designs out there that would work with the generic mould set?

Many thanks for those fine new 32mm Chris Tubb designed elven moulds! New Fantacy 32mm Mould serie is long awaited and looks very fine! Especially because it's 32mm, those old 25mm figures are little too small for used with moders "heroic scale" figures! Next? Maybe more orcs...

Orcs may be one of the ranges, but I think human warriors may be next.

If I wanted to buy cast figures would you spin cast them or use the regular molds? Likely the regular moulds - cast by one of our experienced staff. Spin casting is usually for large quanities of figures. 1 figure would be too expensive. Our staff have years of experience so the quality of casting will be superbe. These new moulds are much more detailed and of an even higher standard than the original 25mm moulds.

Possible but no plans for more character moulds at the moment. We can't release new pieces for all our range at once. There will be more Viking moulds due out later this year.

Orcs may be one of the ranges, but I think human warriors may be next. Human warriors sounds just fine! I'd like to see some Celtic and Old Anglo-Saxon style human warriors. Armed mainly with spear, sword and shields and archers of course. And few models armed with axes.

I think the new Elf molds by Mr. Tubb would make wonderful Mithril items...more in the warbands, range? The armored elves are ideal for either 2nd Age Noldor, or armored Sindar nobles leading the Wood elves of Mirkwood. If Mr. Tubb could perhaps make some molds for orcs, then I can regenerate my orc warbands collection.

Received the new Fantasy Armies Elven moulds recently, and I am pleased with what they have to offer. I'm not a wargamer, but have pounced on them for their potential of supplementing the Mithril figures in dioramas, vignettes etc. Should they be mentioned in the same breath as Mithril figures, of course they should, especially those from the hand of Chris Tubb. Most will probably consider them as Mithril figures in all but official name. In the past I have avoided 'tainting' Mithril figures with other figures, with these moulds/figures I have no problem doing so. It is to be hoped that subsequent releases are to the same high standard of sculpting; no comment on my casting attempts as yet, results were fine, but a little more time and practice should see some lovely figures.

Hello Michael, I have read that PA will make new moulds in 32mm (Babarians). But please be careful with the scale. The Elevens are too large (nearly 35mm). The 32mm- Scale from Mithril is larger then the majority in the Market (normaly 28mm). This is for some collectors a problem. But 35mm is too large for all (including the Mithril- Collectors)! If I look at the M- Series I can say that Chris was be able to make in the last 20 Years nearly ever the same scale - a very good job! Now I hope that PA can make the same good job in the moulds.
