As winter slowly freezes our fingers and toes this month in Ireland we see that the vote was a tie, with The Nameless thing and The Troll Champion beating the daylights out of each other, while the Ghost of the Dead Marshes and Thorin III are catching their breath and giving dirty looks in each others direction.
But who will be the winner of November 2010? ONLY YOU can decide.
Whatever idea wins will be a classic. Vote ends on the 28th.

The Nameless Thing is not like any other creature in Middle-earth. As it has never been seen before, it is a golden opportunity for Chris to create something truly UNIQUE to Mithril. Think of the possibilities! No other manufacturer will have anything like it!

Exactly for this reason I give that "thing" my vote! It is time for designing a real "creature" again.

Well, so it might be better not to depict something like that and keep it hidden. - I'm not aware of possibilities you mentioned, Grond. Nor do I understand the adjective "golden" you used in that context. So why are you that much afraid of suggesting that "Grond"? ... see? You'll fail in the ent ...

Thank you Theobald. I truly expected more opposition and criticism, rather than support. Regardless, it’s good to hear from you. Chris is an incredibly gifted artist to say the least; however, when it comes to drawing or sculpting, all artists have their strengths and weaknesses. Artists tend to lean toward their greater talents, rather than struggle with their weaker ones (unless contracted otherwise). Trust me, the latter can be a real headache, if your heart isn’t in it. That is the true beauty of the Nameless Thing. It’s an open concept. With few restrictions to impede his creative mind, Chris would undoubtedly conceive something even more fantastic than usual. Yes, I use the word “golden” to describe the Nameless Thing’s promising future! It is the freedom that surrounds the concept that makes the Nameless Thing a beautiful thing! You think I will fail? BUWAHAHAHAHAAAA! There are already 50 votes this month. No matter the outcome, the objective has already been achieved. ;D

Yes, another 12 for the Dead Marshes ;D Although, I am intrigued by what the 'Nameless' Thing might look like if it keeps the troll at bay WHOA! I don't know about the rest of you, but seeing 54 votes is a first for me. This is better than I hoped for! David, I wanted to ask you something about your marsh spirit: Did you intend to have it out of the water, or is it supposed to be submersed, just below the surface? Personally, I would like to see it wandering about the marsh, but I'm not sure they were even capable of leaving the water. What a GLORIOUS BATTLE! That troll is a tough adversary. It took a while just to catch him. As everyone can see, the Nameless Thing's lead is marginal. Even now it must shape change to avoid the troll's terrible grasp! It's true! Since the Nameless Thing has no actual physical form yet, it can change its size and appearance at will. That's how it sneaked past the troll earlier. It was disguised as its momma! That's gotta be good for a few more votes either way! COME ON!!! ;D

There is a problem possibly with the vote. Further details will be provided when I have had a chance to investigate.

Due to members giving passwords to non Fellowship members, resulting in 5 votes being made by NON- FELLOWSHIP members I have decided to VOID this round completely. It saddens me. I will run a short vote again of the top ideas. I apologise for those members who did vote fairly. The password will also be changed. PLEASE NEVER ALLOW THE PASSWORD TO BE GIVEN TO ANYONE. Note: I do not know who they voted for, in case you wondered, I just know they voted, where they are in the world (big brother is watching you), and that they are not Mithril customers, let alone Fellowship members.
