some very nice suggestions this time, some of my own origin or suggested by me once and others I just love, like Hirgon, Mauhur, Arathiorn II. or Elladan and Elrohir at the black gate.
I have thought a lot and found, that 2 stories in the lord of the rings are the mst tragic to me: the story of Boromir, Faramir and Denethor and the story of Aragorn and Arwen. As I like this emotional parts very much, I suggest:
1.) [glow=red,2,300] Dying King Elessar or died Elessar on deathbed [/glow] 2.) [glow=red,2,300] Arwen in mourning dress. [/glow]
The first Elessar suggestion could also be a sarcophagus, but I imagine that Elessar looked like a king of old and not like old grown dotard when he died.
The second suggestion should show an Arwen with a veil in a very sad pose so that she could be put at the bed of her dead husband. I thought of having Eldarion as an alternative, but lastly decided to suggest Arwen. If this idea would win, I would leave it up to Chris, if a young boy Eldarion is at his mothers' side- I'd prefer that.
my second suggetion, something for the heart and for the very new year:
SAMWISE GAMGEE with Baby ELANOR
From Lord of the Rings Book III- The grey havens
At the very end of the novel when the Hobbits Sam, Merry & Pippin travelled to the Grey Havens and said goodbye to Frodo, Bilbo and Gandalf.
Merry, Pippin and Samwise returned to Hobbiton and Sam came home to Bag End, Rosie put the little baby daughter Elanor on Sam's lap and he sighted and said: "I'm back"
There are Rosie and Goldilocks as mithril figures but not the firstborn bady of Rosie and Sam The little Hobbit figure could either be sitting on a chair/stool with the little baby on the lap as in the text, or just standing with the Hobbit-baby in his arms
.... this is one of biggest ideas Master Estele... I was thinking in some future to suggest this as a vignette with their son Eldarion included.... great...I think that between all those ideas this month Chris and Michael could chose 12 + 1 ( bonus ) figures without voting and we could be free of voting till the end of the year.. and than company could concentrate all their strengths to produce few regular M releases
Roads go ever ever on, over rock and under tree..............
