Wasn't there some discussion of getting this magazine as part of the membership deal?
Also, why not restart it as a quaterly publication on Mithril. Get fan support like cool new conversions and dioramas and so on?

I just joined The Fellowship in May and I received 5 issues of Tengwar - numbers 1 - 5. I did not realize that the magazine was not an ongoing concern. I think it was well done and I like your suggestions Gavin. I too would like to see it continued.

I too woild very much like to see Tengwar reappear, preferably in an online form.
Gavin, why don't you offer your services as an editor for it? You seem to have whats needed for that position

I too enjoyed the Tengwar magazine and would like to see it 'rise again from the Shadows'. I realise that with most people having access to the internet nowdays information can be posted easier and cheaper than via a printed publication.
Also would Chris or Micheal realistically have the time or energy to add yet another task to their work-load? I think it may be a burden too much.
But it would be good to see it again, and I support whoeheartedly Gavin's ideas, especially with more input from fans and collectors, with their own product reviews, conversions, dioramas etc.
So fingers crossed.

I think I also once suggested to take up the release of the Tengwar magazine a long time ago - and I still support this idea very much. - On the other hand ddaines' criticism is right. That would mean a lot of work publishing the Tengwar again (not to mention the costs to do that). But I still do like this idea

Alright then.
I am officially offering my services as some sort of minion putting together a Tengwar webzine.
Aint nothing going to happen till July, but there you go.
Actually, my question was: did anyone else get the magazines. I didn't. But then I am in Canada, and shipping Aragorn et al was probably cheaper without the magazines!

Gavin, hopefully you've notified Michael--he'll make sure you get the Tengwar. If they are out, let me know and I'll send you copies.

I'll harass him in the morning. Right now I have to return to looking askance at range tables in HARP Skirmish. (There are only like three, but rules make my head hurt. ) Gavin

Gavin Hi Gavin, If you did not get your tengwar magazines, please contact our dispatch manager, Mary-ann, and inform her. She can add them to your next order. All NEW members are entitled to these magazines. It was a mistake if they were left out of a package. dispatch@mithril.ie

No worries. I'll harass the dispatch people for the next order. (When is the paint special offer over? Considering the eye watering amounts of money required to be spent on this whole buying a house lark, I'm a bit iffy about making orders just now!)
Anyway, the main question: would Mithril be interested in an "online Tengwar"?
