I wonder if there is any interest on the Fellowship board for non -character miniatures and more diorama oriented miniatures. I have a real fondness forthe odd kind of pieces that Mithril used to produce, like the architectural pieces of the Chamber of Mazarbul and the furniture and crockery of the Prancing Pony. It doesn't lok like the M-series is going to go down that path again so perhaps it wopuld be something we could see on the suggestion poll here?
One thing I would really like to see Mr CT do is statues of Minias Tirith and Osgiliath. Another thing could be the scrol-and-pigeon-hole library of Elrond. Or perhaps a set of animals: wild kine of Rhun, wild boar of Fenholt, White stag of Mirkwood.

I find animals or objects also good. If they fit in a series and do not become it too many. I would find a whole series only with animals or objects too much. I would also find rider on other tieren than horses good.
For example:
A dwarf on a donkey One of the 13 dwarfs on an eagle A new figure on a camel More ponies
animals: An octopus Sledge dogs
Objects: Boats (Also with persons) Carriages Sledges Accesories for smiths and alchemists

I would certainly be willing to buy them at the cost of the M-releases, but would hesitate to go for them at the prices the limited fellowship precious' demand.

An animal "pack" would be a great help to Diomara Builders, War-Gamers and MERP RPGers! The animals selected could be debated, but should include the most common Middle-Earth animals not already produced by Chris as a Mithril.

I would prefer if Mithril concentrates on Characters (named and generic) and animals specific to Middle Earth. For those who just need animals for dioramas there are plenty of companies around that create them, eg. Fenryl has just released a new pack of house animals: www.battlefield-berlin.de/shop/index.php?cat=WG138&product=ANI02(German distributor - I am sure you will find other sources). I think Mithril will only survive as a brand in the small ME-niche. If generic animals are produced, they should do it as Prince August, and certainly not as part of the Fellowship releases.

I would suggest that we make a mold for animals instead. I do not think that it is a suitable series for Mithril.

A PA mold for animals would be great. Perhaps here even a series makes sense, for the major animals (household and wild), and with different heads and bodies to customize and variation.
This could become a classic, usable for dioramas with many fantasy ranges. Among them, naturally, Mithril :-)

PA 32mm horses, wolves, cattle, sheep, etc...would be a very, very, very good idea.
Even some "warg-y" type wolves would be great.

Me too!
I also whould find a PA range of animals very very great!
cattle, sheep, pigs, chicken and geese whould fit perfectly in a Shire diaorama, Horses without bridle and tack whould be great for some pasture or stable scenes of Rohan
also there should the wild ones like wild cattle, deer, boars and wolves and mentioned in LotR: Swans - black Swans!
