Hi all, I am writing this to say goodbye to the members of the Gold Fellowship, as I have asked Michael to remove me from that voting membership. I have been part of that group for almost exactly 8 years now. It has often been a pleasure to be part of that community and voting for interesting suggestions. It was not an easy decision to leave and one that took long to finally come through, as I still feel an emotional connection with Mithril as "Middle-earth" since I first saw them in store (and bought the first M3 as my first Mithril mini) back in 1988. In the past 2 or 3 years I have felt an increasing detachment though, as on the one hand I don't see development in the line design-wise I think good (and necessary) and on the other hand I noted that I either supported minis winning by a huge margin where my vote wasn't necessary (less often) or (more often ) those I found interesting were far behind at the end of the field - or being not considered at all. I have observed this now for some time and finally came to the conclusion that it is probably best to make an appropriate decision here. I will continue to see what will be produced by the GF (becoming surprise events for me then) and buy what I find interesting on a case by case basis. So I won't leave Mithril altogether, but put it on a basis that reflects the development of my priorities and interests better.
I wish you and the GF all the best for the future.
Kind Regards Tolwen
