Thanks goes out to all members who took part in the original submissions and the resulting votes in the first round. This round has the top three ideas from that round. There was a tie for 2nd place with the Ruffian and Beregond. This round is an open vote so you can always see the status of the poll. Please comment to support or discuss the entries. There are a lot of undecided voters out there you can sway with a convincing argument or sketch. The vote will end at the end of July, allowing me to start August's vote on time.

All are nice ideas, but I must confess that I'd prefer Gollum for many reasons: it's an original figure (never seen one before) that captures a thrilling and iconic scene of the book... remember the first time you read it? Or try to figure out how it was for its first readers, who had never met this strange and evil creature before...
More, it could be used in a larger vignette/diorama, though it works perfectly alone, since it's a small vignette itself. Hope you like and share my point of view, guys. Cheers
