Thanks for all the suggestions. Two were rejected however. The first was the horse and the second was the deer. The other ideas were acceptable and we have enough to start the vote. Every member has one vote and will only see the current status of the poll after voting to allow all ideas an even chance of getting support.
You are encouraged to leave comments about your chosen ideas, even if you initially did not submit them. There will be plenty of people that can be influenced by a comment, especially if a persuasive argument can be made as to why one idea might be more voteable this month.
The top two or three ideas will go into the 2nd round on the 22nd.

A standing Rohirrim mount
In the long run I expect a Rider of Rohan upon this horse blowing his horn directly before the long charge into the Pelennor starts - perhaps the focal point of the story - even thinking of the Horns of Rohan on "the morning that in the sky far above the shadows of death was coming with the dawn" never fails to give me a shiver.
As a rider for an existing horse was rejected, I do now suggest just the horse.
If the Rider never comes, so be it - we can use a standing horse with a dismounted Rohirrim from the existing collection.

A deer (Beorn's or Radagast's animals)
This month, I propose again a rather unusual miniature: Beorn's animals but which could also be associated with Radagast or even Tom Bombadil. This is a deer with a squirrel on his back, a little bird on his head and a rabbit at his feet. Nothing heroic or historical (no reference to a character named in a book) but a subject that seems to me perfectly in the spirit of Tolkien and it would be a good complement to the Beorn or Radagast miniatures.. If Chris considers it too complex for a single figure, he can always simplify and remove one or two small animals?

Frodo dancing
I think that "Frodo dancing" is a good idea for this month because there are already a lot of Bree figurines. I know that there is already a set M113 LOTR 'Strider and Frodo and Sam', but it would be nice to be able to set up another scene at the Prancing Pony.

Fulfilling the Oath Suggestion for this month is another figure from the Army of the Dead, but this time I envisage a Dead-warrior blowing a note on a shattered horn, summoning the Host of the Dead to follow Aragorn and the Grey Company to assault the ships of the Corsairs of Umber. The figure is looking back towards the following host, while blowing his horn, his left arm/sword arm is holding his sword out in front. Mail/clothing etc. would be well worn and shabby.

Dear collector fellows!
Many Thanks for the immense support of the Gimli at Durin's Stone idea the last two months. I'm happy you liked it.
It's your turn now, I just watch and vote this time.
Cheers, Halbarad II.

Dwarf orchestra - Kili and Fili with fiddles. - Dori, Nori and Ori with flutes. - Bombur with s drum. - Bifur and Bofur with clarinets. - Dwalin and Balin with viols. - Thorin with a harp. You have to choose one of them - no group suggestion this time.

Theoden appeared several times in the Mithril range: in his evening clothes (M27), mounted (M260, LT06), dying (MB279), sitting on his throne (MV361), dead (MV419)… but we don’t have him yet in armor on foot, so this is my suggestion for this month :
King Theoden, in full armor, defending the walls of Helm’s Deep

Bifur of Thorin and Company
Specific reference is hard to find for Bifur. Alan Lee’s art is probably the best point of reference out there. Thorin and Company is long overdue in the Mithril Miniatures line. We have them in MX535 An Unexpected Party, but that was extremely limited and very hard to find. I imagine this figure complementing M155/M229 Thorin and MS538 Bombur. The base model should be taken from MX535. He should be dressed in travel gear a bit worn and weary from his long journey on the road. He should be adorned with cloak and hood, backpack, pouch, water can, walking stick, dagger and/or axe, and his clarinet hanging from his belt or pack. M162 Dwarven Adventurer on Pony, M163 Dwarven Adventurer and M306 Dwarvish Travelers are all great inspiration for this figure. My hope is this would inspire all dwarves form Thorin and Company to be made individually or as a set. A reimplementation of Bombur is in order as that piece has been sold out for some time. Possibly a new Bilbo and Gandalf too. Hey, a man can dream! I appreciate everyone's consideration.
