Thanks to everyone who submitted their ideas this month. We are running a little late but all the ideas submitted were approved. Please note that you will see the current status of the poll after submitting your vote. Adding comments on why you voted the way you did can help persuade others into agreeing with your choice. The 2nd round will take the top two or possibly three ideas (if a tie exists) so we work to get a winner for this month.

Ham' Gamgee Holding Forth at the Ivy Bush For July I will suggest Ham(fast) Gamgee AKA 'The Gaffer' holding Forth at the Ivy Bush. Although a single figure suggestion, imagine the wider scene of the Gaffer sitting back in his chair addressing his audience of Old Noakes, Daddy Twofoot, and the miller, Ted Sandyman as they discuss Bilbo Baggins. A mug of beer in one hand while the other (holding a pipe) points at his audience as if to emphasise a point. His (hairy) feet are stretched out before him (and crossed), he wears an open coat over his 'weskit' and a handkerchief flops out of a pocket. A walking cane could be leant against the chair. I believe there is only LR27 - Fatty Bolger and The Gaffer that currently depicts this character.

The three hunters: Gimli
One of the iconic scenes in Tolkiens work - the abandonment of the quest in pursue of aid for a friend, and the remarkable feat of pursuing the Orks - is not yet made in miniature. So I start to suggest the most unlikely, and hardest challenged, hunter, Gimli, to go first.
He should be depicted in light travelgear (using the equipment shown in the fellowship box), in a running or jogging pose - a feat he would have to keep up for hours and days. Unlike Aragorn or Legolas who likely will have their eyes on the ground to pick up any detail, Gimly will be just concerned with keeping up.
PS: When I went to the site I originally planned to suggest the Old Took, but that would be too close to Ham Gamgee. Must be something in the air with old Hobbits :-)

Wainrider man with whip
The appendices mentioned incursions of the Wainriders in Gondor from 1851 TA, for almost a century.
The appendices A mentionned that the Wainriders were a people, or confederacy, of Men from the East. They journeyed in great wagons, and their chieftains rode chariots in battle.
In the Unfinished Tales, "Cirion and Eorl and the Friendship of Gondor and Rohan", it states that they camped in fortified camps of wagons. Their young women were also trained in arms, and they, along with old men and youths, stayed behind, able to defend their homes from attackers.
The MZ670 Wainrider girl mounted is the very first miniature representing this people (2018 December votes).
No surprise... To complete, I propose again and again another Gypsy member : a man this time.
He is bearded and has long hair. His head could be covered with a bandana tied behind and he could wear a thick leather bolero, a wide fabric belt and boots. He could be armed with a whip that he wields in front of him and have a short scimitar passed through the belt.

After the black numenorean standard bearer, my suggestion for this month is DALE STANDARD BEARER at the War of the Ring In the old Tengwar numbers there’s a goldmine of ideas waiting only to be realized. Personally I’ve never read anything more accurate about warfare in Tolkien’s world…. And I wish that more numbers could be published…

Grima, lackey of Sharkey
a representation of Grima, fallen from grace, following Sharkey in his travels to the Shire and before murdering him.
we lack a representation of Grima in this configuration. though we have Sharkey in a christmas figurine.

Ham' Gamgee Holding Forth at the Ivy Bush View AttachmentI’d love this scene. The Gaffer is a great start. This could easily play off The Prancing Pony figures Mithril made so long ago. I wish they would make more releases like this in general.
