Normally we have a winner, or at most a tie for 2 or three. I think this is the first time I saw four ties and no winner. Very strange. However all four are going to go forward for now to the final round. There can be NO tie in the final round so only one can win and you can see the current status before voting. If any tie does occur we will simply break it when Chris Tubb votes, as our rules dictate.
You have until the start of February to take part. Please remember you are free to comment on why you are supporting your favourite idea. Such input can sway undecided voters.
Let the best duo idea win.

It was no less then Feanor who asked her for a strand of hair back in the undying lands - three times, and three times she denied him. Only after that he created the Silmaril, which cascaded into the history we know. When Gimli asked for a single strand, Galadriel gave him three. It is one of the scenes in the book that only get significance if you know the background, but once you do it really reaches back into a time that Elronds participation at the battle of Dagorland appear like recent history. That said, I am happy with whatever suggestion wins. tolkiengateway.net/wiki/F%C3%ABanor

When Gimli asked for a single strand, Galadriel gave him three. While Celebrimbor offers her only one ring. What a cheapskate!

And that while he COULD have given her three.
Seems like we will perpetuate this moment of miserly shame in miniature :-) That said, its iconic. Will be nice to have a new version of Celebrimbor, given that he is the mascot mini of our fellowship.
