The vote is OVER. Think carefully and vote with the wisdom of the elves and the skill of the dwarves. ;D
Remember one vote per member, but you can comment on the outcome. Next months suggestions start on the 5th.

Hi, I vote for the "Charioteer of Rhun". In the first vote, I've voted for the "Gothmog riding a large Warg". I'm interested too for the "Snow Troll". Then, I hope in the future that the two another figures (Gothmog + Troll) will win ... ;-) By Arnaud Godet

I'm going for Thorin. I'm not sure how the final 1st round vote ended up, but he seems a late finisher.
If Chris comes up with his usual magic, assuming Thorin wins, I think we could have a very poignant and atmospheric little miniature produced.
The troll might be nice, I didn't go for Gothmog or the chariot as I think Gothmog needs redefining - he has certainly stirred debate, and I think the chariot might cost a bomb, and would hopefully be a release in another series.
David.

My choice is Thorin entombed with the Arkenstone the most original figure from the 4 present in second round. I am sure Chris'll make nice job and holy posture for this nice subject.

Well, I can't bring myself to vote for the charioteer - sorry! It had to be Thorin even though I am not a big fan - perhaps next vignette, someone will try again with Gothmog just not on a warg please! What will the Arkenstone look like I wonder??

Me too I voted for Thorin, the chariot may be really a bit too expensive for a gold fellowship release... Anyway, since the Arkenstone has never been represented, I am curious at how it will be made (It seems that this "second turn vote" has shown its interest in this month's vote!!)

Give credit (karma) to mshartmann for first suggesting two voting rounds. Also, the nomination round and the first voting round allow for a discussion of the ideas, and for a better rendition of some figures (perhaps Gothmog) in future months.

My problem is that thus far, there have been too many diorama/study type miniatures in this range so far, which are thus of little interest or use to me. And a dead Thorin as impressive as the concept sounds isn't that intriguing to me. And the Snow Troll, as cool as it sounds, should be a normal M release.
That leaves the charioteer or Gothmog. And I don't want Gothmog on a warg. New Line or TE would get stroppy, at the very least. And besides there's already an ugly orc on a Warg with that name by the other guys. (Now if it was Gotmog on a horse...)
So I chose the charioteer.

Well, I said I´d like to see a dwarf coming next, because I once was a miner, too. So I had to stick with my dwarvish pitman!

I go for Thorin, not only becouse is my own choice but I like diorama making and not wargaming.
It´s cool to see that every "hobby" fits with Mithril minis. (Wargaming, collecting, dioramas...)

David. Hi, As being an old-fashioned conservative Dunedain, I think you are absolutely right. And it seems, that Gothmog will not win this voting! I think, fellowship figures should be something very special for a fair payable price (like Beruthiel, Halbarad, King of the dead and so on). I like the vignettes very much, but if you think about to pay 9 vignettes would not be suitable to all collectors. Another reason why I prefer Thorin is, like a member said: it is a "true" miniature belonging very clear to Tolkiens world. That is what I hope to get from the fellowship membership. That's it. Happy voting Estel

Thorin lies in his tomb of stone, The snow-troll does his bone-axe hone, The Charioteer far does roam, And Gothy dreams of burning homes! All good suggestions - it'll be interesting to see how it pans out! I'm swinging with the Dwarf-lord this round, but could easily dig any of the rest. Happy voting all

Poetry in motion! You must be related to Daeron The Minstrel, Axe.
Samwise couldn't have bettered that verse.
I think the dwarf deserves it, after all he was King Under The Mountain, albeit for a short while.
Dave.
