Well it certainly was a clear victory for the Warrior Champion mounted on a War-camel in the 1st round. The second and third finalists are both strong ideas and could prove serious challengers if the fellowship members support it. I wish all finalist the best of luck. The vote ends at 16.00 GMT on Thursday 31st.
Every Vote counts.

Hi fellows! and many Thanks to Michael, the webmaster! The icy North (Lossoth hunter the month ago) and the hot South! GO Haradrim GO!!! And another Picture in our gallery page, the cover of MERP sourcebook Greater Harad, which I also used for inspiration... If you haven't had a glimpse already how the Haradrim could look like, try out this one: www.mithril.ie/Fellowship/gallery.htmlfor the existing mithril camel rider you can go to: mmp.perilousrealm.com/reference/masterresults.php?tolkienflag=all&sortby=sortno+ASC and scroll down to M73 Caravan Guard Mounted on Camel. If you click on M73 you will see pictures unpainted and painted Greetings, Hwolf PS: Angbor the fearless will come, and the Horn-blowing Rohirrim also...! I want to see them in my collection too!

As I said before, brilliant idea, Hwolf Though I doubt that every biologist would call those creatures camels ...

I also support the Haradrim!
And Theobald: Probably it is "Old Joe's" fault, this "Camel" was a also dromedary ;-)

Thanks, fellows
If I figure it out as MERP/MERS defines these creatures, so in the MERP universe these camel/dromedary type animals are called Deve (plural Devevi) There are two breeds in the south of middle earth: the runners with one hump on the back and the slower, but stronger workers with two humps on the back. There is also a rare and most prized breed that is called Deve Poa in the roleplay, which is a two humped runner.
I trust in Chris Tubb in the end how it will look like, if the Haradrim should be succesful... Harry

Sorry, I seem to be going against the tide, but I voted for Angbor the fearless.

I think Harald has taken a lot of trouble to produce a sketch of his idea, and although I could use a Horn blowing Rohirrim more than a camel, I think this will turn out to be a cracker of a figure (should it win of course)! So the camel it is

Well, at least my Rohan Horn Blowing Rider made it to the second round. If I had more time to draw the rider then maybe I would have gotten more votes because a picture is better than words. If it doesn't win then I will suggest it again next month. Thanks for all who voted for the horn blower. Jason

Beneath Noldor, Dwarves and Men of the North I love the Rohirrim most of all people of Middle Earth. So, even if I bet on a "chanceless horse", for me it´s the hornblower.
It reminds me a little bit of a little notice about Merry: Every time after the War of the Ring he feels tears coming up when he hears the sound of a horn in the distance. Remembering that break of day when the Rohirrim arrived at the Pellenor Fields!

I too have supported the Rohirrim guy, as I did in Round 1 - I might have been tempted by Angbor if there was any longer any realistic chance of him winning, but it looks like he's now out of the running (or galloping...).

Is there ever a month where there are not at least three suggestions you would like to see published :-) Admittedly sometimes none of these three wins, but the world would be boring if all share the same taste.

I can VERY much live with the Haradrim warrior on camel - either for the as-yet-mythical Pellennor Diorama I want to make, or just as a Haradrim warrior/hero guy to go along side my Southron Chieftain and Southron warriors.

Mae Govannen, as I said: cool miniature and I think that ICE and the covers of their middle-earth roleplaying books inspired lots of people in the 80ies and 90ies. Yes, back to Harad. Hope to see some other follower of the black snake. Namarie ESTEL Hi fellows! and many Thanks to Michael, the webmaster! The icy North (Lossoth hunter the month ago) and the hot South! Have you ever played MERP in Harad / Far Harad? Can you imagine the trouble Eriador-used players have, when they are the first time in the Harad desert and WATER is the most important thing? They "love" camel riders, who have at least some water. And sometimes a different camel rider is nice to have to make the game more animated. Regards Stift (Alex)

Although I voted for Angbor, I will be very happy to have this Haradrim warrior mounted on a war-camel. I'm sure Chris will make it different enough from the original (M73) to satisfy us as collectors. And this time we've had a clear winner in both rounds of voting--so karma to hwolf for the suggestion and drawing! We still give karma, don't we?
Also, Alex is correct that those who role-play can use more good options for characters in the southern adventures, especially NPC's (I'll probably buy two)!
