The last vote was a tie, between Ingold and Boromir, however as this vote is open we shall see what fate has in store for these finalists.
You have until the end of this month to vote (Thursday 31st at 16.00 BST). Please vote on your favourite finalist.

I am honored to be in the hunt for this month's choice! Thanks for your support Shadyt and to everyone who has voted for Boromir. The 727 in my name tag is my birthday which is July 27th - this Sunday so it would be a wonderful birthday present to win this month!

Boromir and his horn would certainly make a worthwhile figure that strongly merits being made at some point - after all, Bormoir blowing his horn is an iconic image from a pivotal moment in the story. Indeed, in any other month I'd certainly have voted for him myself; but the thing for any wavering voters out there to remember is that there are already other Boromirs in the Mithril range, while Ingold has yet to feature at all. It would certainly be nice to see figures of all the characters with 'speaking roles' in the book before we see too many more 'duplicates', however worthy.
And yet, having said that, I still wouldn't be too bothered if Boromir should win, and I would certainly buy him!
PS - Happy birthday, Master Savage!

Many Happy returns Master Savage, although Ingold got my vote, Boromir is making a fight-back so maybe you will have your birthday wish.

Well, as I look at this page it is 16:05 BST. so I assume that means Ingold has won - by a single vote! That was definitely quite a contest, and I can only hope that the worthy Boromir is suggested again next month.

- Mind you, I've just noticed that Mithril's own 'clock' is set an hour earlier (therefore 15:12 as I type this), so I dunno what effect that has on the voting!

Well someone's slipped an extra vote in Barli - or you've been supping too much of what you're supposed to be selling Mind you the clock does act funny and has done in the past when the 'winner' was overtaken after the assumed end time. Anyhow, congratulations and commiserations.

Thaniks, Dave - yes, that final vote for Ingold must have come in VERY late, since Ingold had still won by just one vote when I checked again at 18:00 BST! At least it hasn't confused the issue by being for the 'loser'...that could have been a problem.

Congrats to the Ingold suggestion for winning July's entry! Thanks to everyone who voted for my suggestion of Boromir! As Barliman has suggested, I will reenter Boromir when appropriate.
